"Welcome, I'm glad you could make it. Just through here" I heard Nate from the hallway, Jamie was talking their ears off, telling them how she was five whole years old now, and all about her school and her friends brother's hamster, before saying how she was better than the kids hamster because she had a whole farm with big animals. Dandelion perked her head up when she heard the familiar voices in the hallway and flew over to them.

Ryan came in first, followed by the other guys. They'd bought non-alcoholic beverages and some flowers for us.

They remember....

"Momma! Look! My new friend!! He came back" Jamie smiled as she went to dandelion and showed them the dog, who was losing her mind as she went over to the guys she hadn't seen in years, I felt a little warm that she saw them again, I bet she'd missed them. Liula was sat up with her stuffed animal in hand and with poppy guarding her body. She watched the men as they filed in and sat down, looking at me for comfort.

The guys all looked different, Liam and James had let their hair grow longer, Milo now had some stubble, Oliver had considerably more tattoos, and Ryan had bulked up and had cut his hair.

They definitely spotted my overly huge stomach but they didn't say anything, Nathan came in and handed out drinks before taking his own seat next to me

Liam and Milo watched Jamie with curious sadness, James came over to sit with me and Nate, I swung my legs round so they rested on the pouffe which meant there was more space for sitting down.

"So you're a farm girl now, huh? Quite a change from the city life" James asked and I nodded anxiously

"Mhm. Nate owned the farm before I came into the picture and i just helped out once we started....started dating. I actually work at the zoo now..." I said the dating bit quietly, not sure what they were okay to hear.

"Ryan said you were married now, Congratulations! I'm glad you could find what you need. I know how badly you wanted to work somewhere like that when you lived with us." Liam smiled, I thanked him, this is definitely not how I expected it to go. "We got a little introduction from Jamie there, but tell us about your daughters" he smiled as Jamie climbed onto Oliver's lap

"Okay well you know Jamie, she's the one who ran off in the supermarket and ran into Ryan - that's a recent habit, but she'd unclipped herself from the baby rains which she hadn't done before - we're going to do some more stranger danger with her. She's a real talker, doesn't stop sometimes. She loves people if you couldn't tell. They're already saying she'll be able to skip a grade." I started, nodding to my daughter who was now sitting on Oliver's lap and looking at his arms, Oliver was looking at Liula from the side of his eye every now and again as she hugged her bear tighter and rested against poppy

"And this little sweetheart next to me is Liula, she and Jamie are twins, but shes the exact opposite. She doesn't talk and if you get too close she'll cry. She's got something going on, I know she has, but the doctors just keep saying to give her time so...so we just have to give her time." Ryan gave me a sympathetic look before looking at my daughters.
