KAI POV

As Lloyd slammed the pool stick down, I tried to get my breath to form into words. But the alcohol in my blood was hitting with intensity. The room swayed around me.

Lloyd was quiet. He watched me for a moment, before turning and walking away.

He's not going to leave right?

Lloyd didn't turn back.

No no he can't leave!

"Lloyd!" I stammered out. I stumbled after him, pushing aside anyone who stood in my way. Blinking hard as I tried to focus. I thought I could see Lloyd up ahead a few paces away. But he was fading among the jumbled collection of blurred bodies. And I was being swallowed by the crowd.

No no no.

I kept my focus on him. The dragon symbol on the back of his jacket held my attention. An easy marker to keep sight of, to follow.

Lloyd. Lloyd. Black and green jacket. Follow Lloyd.

I caught up with him as he reached the bathroom. I grabbed him by the shoulder. Lloyd shook me off abruptly.

"Get off." he muttered sharply. He went and turned on the bathroom tap and began washing his face in the sink.

My heart burned up.

Don't ignore me!

A voice somewhere in the back of my head was whispering. Stop. Stop. Just stop.

But I could feel my temperature rising. And with each passing second I grew more frustrated. The floor swayed and I forced myself to take my next steps forward carefully.

Lloyd turned off the tap and stayed leant over the vanity, water dripping slowly from his face and into the sink.

Stupid sexy boy.

I leant myself back against the bathroom sink beside him, hoping to grab his attention.

"You have.... no right talkin to me like that! Just because you're the Green Ninja. Think you're so... devilissshhhly charming."

I waited for a response, and felt a twinge of irritation when Lloyd didn't react. He simply stood back from the sink and ran his hand through his hair. He stared into the bathroom mirror silently.

I took the opportunity to place myself between him and the bathroom sink, leaning back against the bench seductively.

Except Lloyd didn't even notice.

"Are you ignoring me? " I pouted. I tried to get hold of his jacket and I missed. Frustrated, I grasped out again and caught it this time.

"Kai stop." Lloyd was frowning. Small beads of water trickled down from his forehead, glistening under the harsh bathroom light. It was also causing his eyes to glitter, to sparkle. How was he so, so..

Cute. He's so fucking cute.

"Nooo, stayyyy stillll my greeen angel." I slurred as I wiped the water off his face with the back of my hand.

Lloyd went to turn his head away but I guided him back to me. I wanted to be close to him. As close as possible. I pressed my body against his. He was cold. Or maybe he wasn't. Maybe I was just too hot. It was nice being this close to him. It felt good. But Lloyd tensed up.

"Your beautiful face can't be getting messed up by water," I whispered, as I placed my hand on the back of his neck and moved it up behind his ear, I curled my fingers into the golden locks of his hair.
