KAI POV

Next thing I knew, Lloyd was away, racing through the crowd.

"Lloyd, wait!" I cried, stumbling after him.

Lloyd ran drunkenly, he knocked and shoved people aside. He didn't stop once, completely oblivious to the damage he was leaving in his wake.

"He's very drunk, don't mind him." I apologized to people left and right as I ran by.

"Hey Lloyd!" I cried, stopping abruptly as a lady was knocked over. Lloyd didn't even slow down. I held out a hand to help her up.

I stared as I had to do a double take when I realized that this woman was probably in her late sixties.

She looks far too ancient to be frequenting a place like this.

"What a rude hooligan!" The lady cried, glaring after Lloyd.

"Sorry, so sorry!" I cried as I helped her to her feet. She blinked drunkenly at me, and smiled at me as if I was her saviour. I withdrew my hand quickly.

Gross.

The lady seemed offended now. She glared at me angrily.

"You young people don't know how to behave these days! Really turns me right off."

Somebody come get their grandmother.

"Help yourself next time!" I snapped quickly, then I raced after Lloyd, away from the weird old lady.

Everyone was dispersing to give Lloyd space as he rushed haphazardly to the bottom of the steps on the stage.

The stage was only three small steps high. And Lloyd was already struggling with the first. The stairway was blocked by a lady wearing a bright red corset and black mini skirt. Lloyd stumbled and bumped into her.

The woman let out a scream and clutched desperately at the railing beside her. She was wearing incredibly high heels which didn't help in her attempt to remain upright. She fell to the floor.

Oh no.

"Oh God! That's my wife!" A loud voice boomed. The man who had been breakdancing on the stage was now on his feet and running towards the fallen woman. He ran down the stairs, past Lloyd, who continued onwards up onto the stage as if he hadn't noticed anything.

"What the hell!" Darling are you alright? " The man dropped to his knees to console the woman lying on the floor.

I backed away quickly.

Nothing to see here.

"Who's that crazy guy with the dragon jacket?!" Someone shouted.

I figured they weren't referring to me.

That's Lloyd. My amazing boyfriend. I replied in my head silently.

"Oh my God! He's dancing! " cried another. The crowd jostled around me.

Wait, I can't see!

"He's kinda hot." a female voice added.

I know.

The crowd swelled around the stage. Leaving little room to breathe, let alone move. I became buried amongst them.

I can't see.

I edged my way through the crowd around the bottom off the stage to get a better view of Lloyd. A single metal pole ran around the top of the stage at about waist height, as if it was meant to be some sort of barrier for those dancing on the stage. But it didn't look particularly safe.
