KAI POV

Early the next morning we landed our dragons on the lawn out the front of the museum.

As we approached the building, I noticed a little wooden spike stuck out of the ground on the museum's front lawn. Attached was a sign that read: We've expanded our collection, come on in and take a look!

"Ooo I wonder what new things they have?" Jay exclaimed excitedly.

"Hopefully it is something about the Djinn that can be useful," I replied.

As we approached the building, Lloyd was unusually quiet. He looked worried.

I squeezed his hand gently, silently reassuring him, Don't worry. I'll protect you.

He managed a small smile, but his discomfort at being back here was still evident.

It was no wonder this place unsettled him; it was where Morro first took possession of him. I regretted not being more discerning-I should have gone with him that day.

I should have known it was a trap.

But I hadn't gone with him, because Wu had us handing out flyers around the city.

I clenched my teeth in frustration.

Stupid Wu, if he had of just told us about Morro, we could likely have prevented Morro ever escaping from the cursed realm.

Lloyd stuck close to me as we ascended the concrete stairs of the building, just a minute shy of 8 AM-the museum's opening time. We stepped onto the patio, where a tall, thin man was unlocking the front door.

"Good morning," Pixel said politely.

The man turned around suddenly, clearly taken aback by the large group of visitors so early in the day.

"We're here to-" Pixel started, but the middle-aged man broke into a wide grin, nearly dropping his keys.

"Ah, the ninja! Welcome!" He cried joyfully. His glasses fell halfway down his rather long nose. He pushed them back up to his eyes before he came forward to greet us.

"So good to see you all!" He exclaimed cheerfully, taking my hand and shaking it thoroughly for a solid moment before he went to shake hands with everyone else.

"Thank you for allowing us to look through the archives Henry," Zane spoke solemnly. "We promise to be careful and not damage anything."

I wondered how Zane knew this man's name, I had never seen him before.

Then I realized Henry was wearing a name badge. I could have kicked myself.

For a ninja, I'm not very observant.

"Not a worry at all!" Henry replied cheerfully to Zane. "Given all you Ninjas have done for the museum and the city, it's the least we can do! Let me take you downstairs now. I've asked Mr. Rudd to give you a tour; he's already here-He arrives super early. He's an expert on ancient books and scrolls. He should be able to help you out."

We followed Henry inside through the large wooden door.

"Come along!" he urged, leading us into a spacious hallway lined with artifacts and paintings.

"We keep all our extra documents and artifacts in the basement," Henry explained. "We recently got some new scrolls too! They are our latest exhibit!"

"That's great. I muttered. "Anything in this new exhibit about dark Sorcerers or Djinn?"

I really don't care otherwise.

"Why no, but I am sure Mr. Rudd can help you find exactly what you need." Henry said cheerfully.
