Big thank you to everyone who has read, commented, saved, etc. You are amazing.
The story is far from over btw, it's probably gonna end up well over 200 chapters haha who knows. But it's only just began.

Also the biggest biggest thank you to my dear, amazing friend. Who has been helping me with this story from the beginning. She is there to bounce off ideas, listen to me rant about greenflame.
And she even started watching ninjago, and she knows who she is when she eventually reads this.( I know you said you are going to wait until it's finished dear, and I hope you enjoy the inside jokes I've added throughout the story.) I literally couldn't do this without her, whenever I have trouble with a scene she's there to help.

Another thank you to Spencer, they are also an awesome friend and have been helping me with this and getting me through my depressive slumps and suggesting ideas which I have been using. Ily you are amazing.

My battery is at 10% I'm uploading sorry if there are mistakes lmao

LLOYD POV

"So are we ready to go yet guys?" I asked excitedly to nobody in particular as I paced back and forth on the deck of our flying ship. Only Nya and Kai were out on the deck  with me. The rain had eased off a bit, but was still falling steadily, leaving raindrops on my leather black jacket.
"Someone's impatient!" Cole laughed as he walked out onto the deck covered in a raincoat and a large plastic tarp which draped over him like a giant robe.
"Nice outfit Cole." Kai laughed.
"I have to stay dry Kai! Don't be mean."
I looked around. Zane, Jay and Pixal were still nowhere in sight.
"Where are the others? It's already 5.30! And the skate rink is on the other side of ninjago city! We have to leave soon if we want to get there on time!" I whined.

Kai was leaning up against the railing of the boat. He was ignoring the rain, and the wind that had picked up suddenly. He was wearing his red leather jacket again, his dragon earrings and a pair of tight, black ripped jeans. He looked so good. He had our wallets and phones in his leather satchel which was slung over his shoulder. Somehow the way he was wearing it looked good. How did he always look so good?
I let out a sigh.
I'm doing it again. I'm staring.
"So are the others coming?" I asked once more.
"Don't worry, I think we are just waiting on Jay to finish his make-up." Kai smirked. "We all know how long he likes to take getting himself fancy." he flicked his earrings dramatically as he spoke the word fancy and I noticed how pretty his hands were.

How are his hands so beautiful and-

I'm staring again.

Kai put his hands in his pockets casually.

How is everything he does so attractive?

"You are one to talk." Cole scoffed at Kai. "You spent nearly an hour taking a shower and doing your hair!"
"Hey! My hair is a priority!" Kai whined.
"Clearly." Cole rolled his eyes and turned to me. "Don't worry Lloyd, we can make it across the city pretty quickly with our dragons."
"Right." I muttered, feeling my confidence draining.
I don't think I can use my dragon.
Everyone probably knows that. I'm pretty useless.
Oh who even cares?  Act cool.
"Well, as long as one of you gives me a ride." I said. "I am the birthday boy after all."
"I will!" Kai said quickly.
"As long as you don't mind if I cling to your waist the entire time?" I teased. And Kai's face went red. I felt myself breaking into a smirk. There was something so satisfying about seeing Kai get flustered.
Cole looked at me with wide eyes, then at Kai. With a dramatic eye roll he threw his hands in the air in what seemed to be frustration and the tarp he was wearing suddenly blew away in the wind. He let out a shriek and he rushed back inside before the rain could get him.
I broke into a laugh, but it wasn't at Cole. I was barely paying attention to him. Kai looks so embarrassed oh gosh.
"Well, I don't want you to fall so sure." Kai muttered, finally responding, but not meeting my eyes.
"Okay." I laughed.
Nya, who had been sitting quietly under the shade of the awnings near the door, watching the entire time, burst into giggles.
Kai glared at her and that made me burst into more laughter. Nya began scrolling through her phone to avoid her brothers glare. Kai looked back at me and gave me a small smile, still red in the face.
