XAVIER's POV

On day 6 we travel from Nagano to Hakone

"We're hopping back on the bullet train this morning, heading to Hakone. Known for its hot springs, natural beauty, and, of course, Mount Fuji, we'll be staying at a cool hotel that even has its hot spring.

"The natural beauty of Hakone is amazing. The mountains, hot springs, and calm lakes – it's all so pretty," Mercedes (looking around at the lush landscape)

"It's a perfect mix of tradition and natural wonders. I can't wait to check out the hot springs and taste some local food; we'll be doing it together," Xavier (nodding)

"These moments together are what make our adventures so special," Mercedes (grateful)

As we continued our journey in Hakone, we enjoyed the beauty of the place and the shared experiences that brought us closer together.

Day 7 Hakone to Osaka

"You won't be walking the plank, but this morning, you'll explore Hakone by a pirate ship (and cable car), keeping an eye out for views of snow-capped Mount Fuji. Afterward, we'll journey to Osaka and head straight to explore the lively canal region of Dotonbori. Dinner is on us, where we'll fuel up for a night out, Osaka style," the tour guide said.

"Mount Fuji is famous for being tall... Rising to 12,388 feet (3,776 meters), Mount Fuji is the tallest mountain in Japan and is known for its graceful conical form. It is the country's sacred symbol, and temples and shrines are located around and on the volcano, right?" Cedes asked.

"Yeah, I've read some articles about it," I replied.

"Its views are amazing," Cedes said while we were on the cable car, and we saw the beauty of Mt. Fuji capped with snow.

"Xavier, look at this! It's even more incredible than I imagined," Mercedes (gazing at Mount Fuji in awe)

"It's like a dream come true, isn't it? I've always wanted to see Mount Fuji up close," I said (smiling)

"The happiness I'm experiencing right now is indescribable. It's a moment we'll treasure forever," Mercedes (feeling a sense of wonder)

"I'm so glad we could share this experience. It's a memory that will always make us smile," I said (grateful)

As we stood in front of the majestic Mount Fuji, our happiness was palpable, a shared moment of pure joy in their journey together.

On day 8 we will roam Osaka Castle after shopping free.

"This morning you'll have time to yourself to chill and maybe squeeze in a spot of shopping before we head out as a group to visit the 400-year-old Osaka Castle. Looking like something straight out of a fairytale, you'll struggle not to get house envy as we explore the grounds and hear stories of Japanese history and legends, including the country's most famous warriors, the Samurai," tour guide

"Wow... I will be able to visit Osaka Temple... I know only from books that Osaka Castle is famous to some for its incredibly well-built stone wall, which is impressive in its sheer size, with an estimated 500,000 to 1 million large stones (up to 12kg) having been used in its construction. The moat walls stand up to 20 meters tall and 90 meters wide as Google describes Osaka Castle," Cedes.

"Xavier, the Osaka Temple is truly magnificent. The architecture is stunning," Mercedes (looking at the Osaka Temple in wonder)

"It's a testament to the rich cultural heritage of Japan. I'm in awe of the craftsmanship that went into building this temple," Xavier (admiring the intricate details)
