Transition- 14

Jaxon was pretty busy as well this week, so our interaction was minimal since both Mr. Hines and Jaxon were in meetings most of the day. Which for me, made this week go by smoothly.

I still need to gain access to his calendar so I can make sure I am privy to all his meetings and what files to pull. Hmmm, should I email him to find out? Or maybe I should text him? He did give me his contact information earlier this week. I think I will just shoot him a text; he will probably answer his phone faster than his email. I recall our meet cute in the elevator, when he was so focused on his phone. I smile to myself while I send him a quick text.

Hello Mr. Hart, this is Elena Santos. I was hoping to have access to your calendar today so I can make sure that I can gather the needed files for your meetings next week. If you would be so kind as to let me know who will be able to allow me access as well as get me a work flow / assistant expectations list.

As soon as I sent the text it showed it was read and little dots appeared showing he was responding. When I suddenly realized those Damn butterflies were back causing chaos in my tummy.

Nice to hear from you Ms. Santos. You should have a package at your desk no later than 3 pm today with the following:

1. Laptop- that will have my calendar as well as the assistant expectation list and my home address.

2. Company Credit Card- which you will use as needed. You will also need to purchase proper attire for work events and Galas, that we will attend together.

3. Key(s)- to my office and Home since we will be working from my home office a few days a week.

4. Company phone- that already has my calendar linked as well as important contacts.

The company car will be delivered to your home this evening by 9pm. Let me know if you have any questions.

After reading his text, I was feeling anxious and a bit unsure of this whole work arrangement. Thinking about how I was going to have to be in his home alone with him made me nervous. Holy Rusted Metal Batman... What did I get myself into?

Thank you sir, I will let you know once I get the package; however, I don't feel that me working from your home is necessary when I could be more productive in the main office. I will make sure that I am home at 9:00pm to accept the keys to the company car. If there is anything else that you need sir, please do not hesitate to let me know.
