So the next day everyone seemed to be acting way too casual for 2 recent murders. Then again, Doll did murder a bunch of girls in episode 3 and prom wasn't canceled. So these guys aren't exactly the smartest. Anyways I was in my room when I got a notification. Turns out the next 2 episodes had aired back home. Ignoring the fact that that meant I had been gone for a long time I decided to catch up and oh boy where these some good ones. What caught my attention the most was Cyns ability to go from regular Worker to full on eldritch abomination and back. I wondered if I could do something similar. I focused on extra limbs popping out and after a few unsuccessful attempts I decided to take a walk to clear my mind. I made sure to stear clear of the other Workers since I wasn't in the mood to deal with them. After finding the spot with all the Solver boxes from Heartbeat I leaned against the wall to relax for a bit. Then for some reason the lights started to flicker and went out.
Me: This place has shitty lighting.
Then a knife flew at me outta nowhere. I closed my eyes and flinched but the knife never hit. I opened my eyes and saw that 4 spider like legs had blocked it.
Me: Hey...I finally did it! Wonder if I can grow a tail?
More knives came at me, but I somehow managed to block them even though I had 0 experience with these new limbs.
Me: Alright, whoever's throwing knives, stop. You're not gonna hit me.
Then Doll walked into view. Not surprising.
Me: Well, well. Looks like I'm not the only one.
Doll: I see...I had my suspicions. I am sorry that you've been afflicted with this curse as well. Don't worry, if I find what I'm looking for I'll help you.
Me: Don't worry! Take ALLLLLLLLLLLLLL the time you need! I'm having a blast with these powers! And the extra limbs are also cool!
Doll: You haven't had this as long as I have. You'll soon see it for the curse it truly is.
Me: Sure, whatever you say. If it turns out I'm wrong, you can brag and say, "I told you so."
Doll: This is nothing to joke about, please take this seriously.
Me: Don't worry, I will. I do wanna figure out how this works after all.
I said while making exaggerated movements with my arms and spider limbs.
Doll: I can help, if you want.
Me: That's great!
Doll: You can't walk around with those extra limbs. Can you retract them?
Me: Let me try.
I focused and tried to go back to normal, but nada.
Me: Sorry, can't. This is still new to me.
Doll: Very well. Take my hand.
Me: Ok?
Then my vision went to static, and we were in a dark and dirty room.
Me: What the hell was that!?
Doll: One of the abilities of this curse, the ability to teleport.
Me: I WANNA DO THAT!!! SHOW ME! SHOW MEEEEE!!!
Doll: Calm down. First show me what you already know.
I demonstrated my telekinesis and duplication.
Doll: You seem to have a good understanding of this. I guess I really only need to show you how to teleport.
So after some unspecified amount of time later I was kinda able to get it. I could teleport short distances, but that's about it.
Doll: I think that's it, if you want more practice just let me know.
Me: Thanks, Doll. This was great.
