The next day while walking to school, I noticed a missing poster for the drone I killed. Well that was fast, hopefully most of these Workers are idiots like in the show. Doll might get suspicious but I got a plan if she does something. I overheard some of the others talking.
Random Drone: Did you hear about that drone who went missing?
RD 2: Yeah, he never came home. And all search parties have found nothing.
It's OK, as long as there's nothing connecting to me.
Teacher: Ok, students please quite down. Class is starting.
He went on and on and I really wasn't paying attention. Doll was looking at me suspiciously.
Doll: So...what do think happened to that missing drone?
Me: I dunno, I don't know what these drones do. Remember I've only been alive for a few days.
Doll: Yes, that makes sense.
Teacher: Would you care to answer this problem?
It was one of those prove you're not a robot tests, I decided to play dumb to not blow my cover.
Me: Uhhhh, fuck it. I dunno.
Teacher: I was really hoping I'd get a student that actually cares about class. Guess not.
Class was pretty boring, I just played games in my head. Then when we were finally dismissed I went to my room and drank some more oil. I was surprisingly thirsty. I didn't even realize I had drained the whole corpse dry.
Me: Hmmmm. This seems problematic, if I'm already getting this bad a craving for oil then things are gonna escalate very quickly.
And indeed they did over the next few days. At first it started with me getting better control over the Solver I could use my telekinesis and duplication with ease, but definitely nowhere near Doll's level. I gave myself a little cut to test the healing factor it sure enough it worked. I couldn't figure out teleportation. But I did make a glider out of a jagged piece of metal. Basically I would use the Solver on it and then ride on it like the Green Goblin. I especially made sure it was sharp incase I ever needed to use it like in the movie. Anyways all this quickly added up and I ended up adding 2 more bodies to the count. I found 2 WDF drones off duty playing cards. Do they seriously have nothing else to do? Uzi was able to pirate anime so they must have some TV related stuff. One of them jumped onto the table and started yelling.
WDF Drone 1: And that's another win for me! I'm telling you I can't lose! There is nothing that could ruin this moment!
Something ruined his moment. I activated my Solver and-
WDF Drone 2: OH MY ROBO GOD!
WDF Drone 1's head landed on the table with the Fatal Error message. The other guy started running.
Me: HEY! IT'S SAFE OVER HERE!
He saw me and ran over to hide.
Me: You ok?
Drone 2: After that? Not really.
Me: I know what's going on, so listen closely. Look and put all your attention on me, cause I'm about to say something very important.
Drone 2 leaned closer and had all his attention on me.
Drone 2: What is it? What do you need to tell me?
Just then I gave an evil smile.
Me: Godspeed random drone.
I sent my glider at him and it sliced him in half. I quickly jumped to avoid it and it crashed into the wall. Since I didn't watch anime I wasn't able to do a flip and I crash landed.
Me: Ow. Hehe...worth it.
Drone 2: Why?
Me: Eh, none you business. Bye bye.
I crushed his head. Since I was in a hurry I didn't have time to make sure there was no evidence. I probably would've had time if I didn't mess with that drone but I couldn't resist not making that reference. Someone had to have heard the screams or the loud crash. Even then someone would find the mess I left behind, but at least I was smart enough to disable the cameras and not kill near my room. Hopefully those 2 would last till tomorrow night since it's the best time to hunt cause most of the drones were asleep. After getting my fill I finally decided to get some sleep. There was no school the next day so I could practice more Solver stuff. And maybe interact with characters outside of class.
