"COME ON! FASTER!" Ayesha screamed at Ellie as they kept running.

"I can't... We have been running for five miles..." Ellie said breathless as she started running a little slower.

"Girl don't you start. You need to practice your cardio, come on." She kept running.

Ellie stopped running and tried to caught her breath as she sat on the grass in the middle of a meadow.

Ayesha stopped running as she turned to Ellie, her hands on her hips.

"You are dramatic." Ayesha said as she watched Ellie lying down on the grass.

"I am not..." Ellie said as she watched Ayesha walking back to her, "How do you do it? You're not even breathless."

Ayesha giggled as she sat down next to Ellie, watching her trying to catch her breath.

"You are the one who asked me to train you like the WLF trained me..." Ayesha said.

"No you are just a beast... Or a war machine, I still haven't decided yet." Ellie slid her arm on her forehead.

Ayesha chuckled as she analyzed Ellie. She was wearing some basketball shorts they found the other day in an old shop with a white tank top and sneakers. On the other hand, Ayesha was wearing some joggers as well as a sports bra.

"Ayesha?" Ellie called her while Ayesha was playing with the grass.

"Yeah?" She replied.

"This might be a weird question but... Do you ever think about us back in Jackson?" Ellie asked.

Ayesha froze as her heart skipped a beat. She felt a little caught off guard and this question was most definitely unexpected. She laughed nervously.

"What do you mean us?" She asked.

"Like you and I, do you ever think about it?" Ellie asked.

Ayesha looked away before she slid her hand on her pendant necklace. And she remembered the day Ellie asked her what it was and why she was carrying it with her all the time.

Ellie still wondered what it was.

Ayesha smiled before taking off the necklace as she threw it at Ellie who caught it just in time. She then looked up at Ayesha in confusion before the brunette beckoned her to open the pendant.

And Ellie opened it, and she faced a folded paper that she took in her hands and unfolded, and she almost forgot about that drawing. A little smile appeared on her face as she remembered giving this to her the day before everything went downhill.

She then stared at Ayesha who was looking away, avoiding eye contact, too ashamed to admit she had been keeping it for that long.

"All the time." She finally gave an answer to Ellie.

Ellie stifled a laugh before she folded the paper and put it back into the pendant as she gave it to Ayesha. The brunette grabbed it and put it back around her neck as she stood up.
