Once in Maxius's room she grabbed the blanket and climbed under the bed. She really did need to rest. She was starting to get hungry but she didn't want to pull Maxius away from Thyme and Tryx. They had just got here. Plus they Probably missed him. So she decided to wait. He would be in here soon enough. She knew that.
Laying under the bed she curled up on herself. Thalia had been with Maxius for almost a week and she had never felt safer. It was sublime to feel safe. She couldn't remember the last time she had felt safe. Her and her parents had been running since she was fifteen. That was over twelve years of running. Then when her parents got killed it got even worse. After that she was alone. All alone she hated to be alone. Now she had someone. She wasn't alone anymore. She had needed that. She really had. She just didn't realize how much she did. Thalia thought she was getting used to being alone and how wrong had she been about that.
Tomorrow though she would have to talk to Maxius about Ajax. She knew in her heart there was something wrong with him. She just knew it. She needed to convince him. She really needed to. She couldn't get the Ajax thing off her mind. It just kept running through her head over and over again. That's how she knew there was something about him. Plus her sixth sense had never been wrong yet.
She really couldn't wait for Maxius to come to her. She loved being in his arms. He was so strong and warm. Besides he always pulled her in close and kept her safe. She believed in him. She knew he would do everything in his power to keep her safe. That made her feel even safer. The fact that her sixth sense told her so.
After she finally got her brain to shut off she fell into a deep sleep. There was no tossing and turning when she was under his bed. Plus she knew he would be in there soon.
