In the pitch of night: When He Finds You

Chapter 44

Thalia was so happy to be reunited with her parents. She couldn't believe they were actually alive. And didn't that make her so happy. She had Maxius, her parents and cousins. She couldn't believe she had a family. Plus she was happy her parents approved of her and Maxius. That made things so much easier.
"Thank you." she said going to her tiptoes when they were outside the door. "I really needed this. It was such good timing." She kissed him softly on the lips. "I so needed this. And having you here made it that much better." She kissed him again. Then they were hand in hand and heading for the elevator.
Once they were back to the conference area they looked around. Everyone must have decided to go to bed. Her imps were even gone. How late was it she wondered. It must be late if everyone was gone.
"Let's head to bed. We have some things we need to talk about before we go to sleep." Maxius said to her.
"Where are we staying? Are we going back to the hotel?"
"No, we are staying here. I show us to the room. I know where it is."
"Thank you. I am glad I finally got to be alone with you. I needed this. All those people were starting to get to me."
Then he took her hand and headed to the left. There were doors up and down the corridor on either side. They went to the last door on the left. And then he was pening the way in. The room was grand. It had a large king size bed in the middle of the back wall. The sheets on the bed were done in black and red. There were elegant nightstands with lamps set atop of them. There was an antique dresser in the middle of the wall in front of the bed.
"Your clothes are in the dresser I had them brought over. Mine are in there too. We can shower and head to bed. We can lay in bed and talk." Maxius said.
Then they were heading for the dresser for some clothes. She really hoped the talk went well. She had so much she wanted to say. Most of all she wanted to thank him again for saving her. She needed to. Then she wanted to tell him how she felt about him. That he was more than just a boyfriend. That she believed he was her mate. That she wanted to spend the rest of her life with him.
"Let's shower together. We should conserve on the water." Thalia said with a small smile.
Then she watched Maxius strip quickly. "I thought you would never ask."
"Then we can feed each other. I think I might need to feed again. May I feed from you?"
"Always and forever."
Then they were getting in the shower. Maxius washed her hair and body. He was very attentive. He was careful with her. Then he was massaging her hands and working his way up her arms and to her back.
"If you keep that up we won't make it out of the shower." Thalia said.
Then he was washing himself quickly. Once they were out of the shower they dried off and didn't take the time to get dressed. They went right to the bed naked and got under the covers. Then they were laying side by side. So close their sides were touching. She needed to feel his body on top of hers though. She wanted him with a fierceness she had never known. And she wanted to feed while he took her. She wanted to be at his neck and he knew it. The next thing she knew was he was sitting up and she was straddling his legs.
"I can feel your hunger. Let me take care of you sweetling. I need to do this for you. I want to do this for you."
"Yes." She said breathlessly. "I need you too."
Then she was licking up and down that sweet spot on his neck. The spot where she would get the most of that crimson that she needed so badly. Then she sucked on that spot and he let out a groan. She continued to suck and lick and nip at that spot. Edging him to a high pitch. She wanted him abandoned. She needed him to be. Once he let out a growl she struck. And the first rush of blood made her whimper. She could feel his shaft lengthening and hardening underneath her. She wanted that large shaft inside her and she needed it now. She lifted herself up without releasing the hold at his neck and grabbed his shaft and put it at her core. Then she slowly pushed herself down. When she was fully seated her let out a growl and grabbed her hips and pulled her up and pushed her back down his shaft. And didn't that feel amazing.
"That's it Thalia." He growled. "I can feel you clenching around me."
Then she let out a moan and released her hold on his neck. Once was done she was being flipped to her back and Maxius was pulling out and pushing in at a vigorous pace. When he slowed he leaned down and started to kiss Thalia up and down her neck. Licking and lapping at her. He was reading her to strike. The feel of Maxius's mouth on her sent shivers through her body. She loved the way it felt.
"Maxius." she moaned. "I need to feel your fangs in me. Please."
Then he struck and she let out a gasp. The pulling sensation at her neck felt as good as always. The fact that he was taking sustenance from her made it that much better. She wondered since she wasn't a full vampire if she could be the only one to feed him. That was a question for later though.
Then they were going high together and coming down as one. They laid there trying to catch their breaths in each other's embrace. Being in his arms was all that mattered at that moment. Everything from the day was washed away for the time being. Then she was taking a deep shuddering breath and exhaling slowly. Once her heartbeat was back to normal she shut her eyes and just relaxed for the first time that day.
"Thank you. I needed that." she sighed.
"No reason to thank me. I was happy to oblige." he said teasingly, pressing a kiss to the top of her head.
Lifting her head up she laughed for the first time in what felt like years. She was finally finding her footing again after everything that happened to her and everything that she learned. Like her being a demon and her parents being alive. She still couldn't believe they were alive. That Ezekiel hadn't lied about it.
"Can you believe it?" she asked.
"Believe what, sweetling?"
"That my parents are still alive after a year of being with Ezekiel? I still can't believe I can go downstairs and see them. After all this time I can see them."
"You will get to see them more tomorrow. I promise. Then you can visit and talk to them while I take care of some things."
She was so happy she couldn't hold it in anymore. She smiled one of the biggest smiles she thought she had ever made. She had her parents. She had Maxius. She was about to meet some of her cousins. She even had her imps. Then she had all the people she had met through Maxius. What a family she had. She couldn't wait to get to know them all. She also couldn't wait to find out where home was going to be. She really hoped Maxius wanted to keep her. Even if she was so much trouble today.
"I have a family." She said excitedly. "A real family. A makeshift one however it is still a family."
"That you do." he pressed another kiss to the top of her head.
She was sprawled out on top of him like a throw blanket with her arms wrapped around him. She was so comfortable her eyes began to shut.
"Hey Maxius do you want to keep me?" she whispered sleepily. Then she was out like a light.
