Once they were in the room Maxius shut the door. He didn't want anyone to over hear their fight. He really didn't want to fight. He wanted to kiss her and make it better. He needed to. They were about to be stuck in a car for hours. He didn't need her mad at him.
"Thalia, come here. We don't need to fight and I take back what I said. I just need you to be safe. Is that too much to ask for. We will be leaving shortly. We need to pack. Plus I need you." Maxius said in a soft deep rumble.

Getting out of bed he went to go and grab towels where they could clean up a little before taking showers.
"You take a shower in here and pack some of your stuff. And I will go to the hall shower and take one." Maxius said.
"How about we take a shower together then I can show you how much I appreciate you." Thalia said, licking her lips.
"Oh you tease. We will never get out of here if you do that. Plus I bet everyone is wondering where we have gone." He replied.
"Don't think I forgot how you talked to me out there. I don't like people thinking I am weak and that must be what they think after your little words you spoke."
"I am sorry about that. I just worry about you. Please forgive me. I didn't mean anything by it."
He really hoped she would forgive him. He honestly didn't mean anything. Just that he wanted her to stay safe. She would realize one day what she meant to him. He would make sure of it. He just didn't know how.
"I may or may not forgive you." she said, with a smile.
"Go get in the shower." He said with a swat to her ass.
"Sir, yes sir." she answered. Then she headed for the shower.
