In the pitch of night: When He Finds You

Chapter 20

Out in the kitchen Thalia poured herself a glass of blood. She was ready to pull out her hair. Thyme and Tryx hadn't come back yet and they had been gone for over two hours. They should have been back an hour ago. She was so worried. There wasn't even a way to get a hold of them. Taking a sip of her blood she wished they made little cell phones for imps. Or some way for them to contact the people they care about.
Liliana was already back with her imps. The female imps name was Jade. She looked like Thyme except she had blonde hair and green eyes. Her coloring was black and yellow. Her male imp was white and blue and his name was Pax. He had brown hair and hazel eyes. They were pretty nice. Despite that they were not Thyme or Tryx. plus it seemed they didn't like her much.
When Maxius came into the kitchen he wrapped his arms around her waist and placed his head on her shoulder. "I have a surprise for you." he whispered in her ear.
The next thing she knew she was surrounded by six little imps.
"The Thalia, we the sorry it took so the long." Tryx said.
"Oh it is ok I was just worried about you guys. You were gone way longer than we thought you would be." Thalia replied with a smile.
They both came and perched on either of her shoulders. Like they needed to be close to her. They were so sweet. 
"This is the Mai." Thyme said pointing to an imp that was black and red. She had crimson colored hair and blue eyes. "This is the Tatum." this imp was white and Purple. He had platinum hair and grey eyes. "This is the Ivy." this one was black and orange. She had black hair and silver eyes. Real silver not grey. It looked wicked. "Last but not the least this is the Drude." this imp was white and black. He had yellow eyes and black hair. Then pointing at Maxius then she wrapped her little arm around Thalia's neck. Thyme said. "This is the Maxius and the Thalia. They are the ours."
"It is nice to meet the you guys." They all said in unison.
They all seemed to get along. Then the girl imp named Ivy came flying up to Maxius and she perched on his right shoulder. Then the female imp Mai did the same thing to him on his left. Then the two male imps just looked between Maxius and Thalia like they couldn't decide who to go to. Tryx looked at the both of them waiting for them to make a choice.
"It is the ok you can pick the one of them." Tryx said. "They are both the nice. You know the Maxius. He doesn't like the bad people. Well except the Liliana the bitch. We don't like the her."
"Yeah we don't like the bitch. And now the bitch has imps. We are the ass kicker imps though. We beat her the imps up." Thyme said.
While watching the imps talk Maxius was glad they all were safe. He thought about asking the other four to stay with them indefinitely. He would like to have more imps around. They were like little kids. He loved it. One day he would have kids of his own. Then the other two male imps chose Thalia. She just beamed after that. She loved the imps. She would help take care of them.
"Thalia everyone will be here soon. We need to head back to the living room. We pulled out folding chairs where everyone can have a seat. Plus all the imps need to meet each other, not just see each other." Maxius said.
"That is right. I forgot about the other people coming over. Do I really need to meet even more people? I think I have met enough people to last me a lifetime. I really don't feel up to meeting more people."
Ugh more people. She thought. She really wasn't looking forward to that. Sitting her empty glass of blood down her and her four companions went to the living room.
There were thirteen  people in the living room. There were three on the couch. One in each of the two recliners and two on the love seat. The rest were in fold out chairs. Then there were two empty chairs for Thalia and Maxius. There were a total of fifteen people. Maxius was acting like they were going to war or something. Thalia didn't understand why they needed this many people. Ezekiel's pack might be dangerous but they didn't even have this many people in the pack.
"Let me introduce the people Thalia doesn't know yet. This is Psyche." Psyche had red hair done in a pixie cut. She also had deep blue eyes. She was really short. "This is Cazmir." he had long dreads and dark brown eyes. So dark they almost looked black. "And last is Shade." Shade had long black and pink hair with hazel eyes. "Everyone, this is Thalia. You know the others.'
They all said hi after Maxius introduced them to Thalia. Thalia wasn't thrilled to have so many people around her. She really didn't have much to say. She said her hellos and left it at that. There were just too many people. She really hoped this was all of them she didn't want to meet any more. The imps she was cool with. They weren't grown size people. However all together including the imps there were twenty one people. It seemed odd to Thalia that there was an odd number of people. Usually they came in pairs.
Maxius was looking at Thalia to see how she was handling everything. She seemed like she was in her own little world with her imps. He was glad that some of the imps chose her. They may be small and like to play around but they were fierce little beings. He knew she didn't like being around a lot of people, it was all to keep her safe though. He really hoped she understood that. Maybe he could have kept the group smaller. however he wanted to make sure they wouldn't be outnumbered. There was always a chance he could still get to her though.
"Look at all these beings. I have never seen so many people in one house." Thalia whispered to the four imps on her shoulder. She was really digging the imps.
"They all the good people. Except for the bitch. She not the good people. She made the Thalia mad." Tryx said. He added the last to the two new imps. Tatum and Drude.
"The Tryx the Thalia said we not to call her the bitch no more." Thyme said. "The bitch is the Liliana. But she not the bitch no more."
"The oh." Drude and Tatum said together. Then Drude added, "the why? They why is she the bitch?"
"Long story little Drude."Thalia said.
"I not the little. I the big." Drude pouted. He even had his bottom lip out. And how cute was that.
Thalia did really love being around the imps. They were so funny and fun. Drudge and Tatum weren't dressed like Thyme and Tryx. Thyme and Tryx were still clad in Leather. Tatum and Drude on the other hand were in tiny jeans and tee shirts paired with tiny tennis shoes. She would have to see about getting them leather if they would wear it.
