Thalia was sitting on her bed in the tower. She still couldn't believe they had decided to let Ezekiel live. She really hoped they could keep him contained. Considering that if he ever got out he would come for her again. Next time she might not survive it though. She was ready to leave the tower for the time being. She was ready to get back to Colorado. She would catch up with her cousins at a later time. She didn't want to stay another moment under the same roof as Ezekiel. She had already packed her bags for the trip back. They were going to end up driving back. There was no way to teleport with all the stuff they had.
Walking over she looked at herself in the mirror. She still looked the same. However for some reason she felt like she had aged a million years. There had been so much to happen. Some many revelations she had made. She came to terms she was part demon and she was the only female one. There was no one else like her in the world. She was all alone in that fact. She knew she had people and family though. People who loved her. She even had her parents back. At least she knew of two demon vampires and that was her cousin and her dad. They could help her on her new path.
"Are you ok?" Maxius said from the doorway.
"Yes, I am just ready to go. I think I want to live at the ranch home. Is that ok? I think my parents and their new found imps will like it there."
Yeah Tatum, Drude, Mai and Ivy had traded them in. they were back down to two imps. Surely they could always find more. She liked having them all around. She sure was going to miss them. At least they would still be close.
"I think that is a great idea. I really like my ranch home. Have you thought about what you might want to do with all your free time that you won't be running anymore?"
"I think I want to take up helping people. Maybe like a personal investigator. Or maybe join a police force. Only time will tell. But first I want to get used to my new life."
