"Are you sure you can't just skip? No one actually does anything during free period. Plus there's a huge sale at Victoria Secret. You have to come!"

I shook my head, hugging my books to my chest, "I really have to study for this Biology test next period. Snap me pics of cute clothes?"

Danielle nodded, then turned away hand in hand with ginger.

"Are you sure you'll be okay all by yourself, Gabbie? We haven't talked since the party."

"I promise I'm fine. I've just been very busy with school lately."

"You still have to tell me everything that went down with Rhyan."

I sighed, "I will, I promise." I gave her a reassuring smile, "You should probably go. They're waiting on you."

We hugged, then she walked through the double doors, exiting the school.

I sighed, making my way towards the library.

I wouldn't miss a sale at Victoria's Secret for the world, but a certain person is tagging along.

Avoiding him has become a harder task then I thought.

After what happened between us a few days ago, he has been slowly but surly trying to hang out with us again.

Our friendship was completely ruined over some mixed feelings.

I walked into the empty library. There was no one in sight, not even the librarian.

I sat at a circular table near the back, dumping my things out of my bag. I plugged my head phones into my phone, blasting 'Again' by Fetty Wap, bobbing my head to the beat of the song

I pulled out my unfinished study guide, and started working on it as I sang softly.

I looked around to make sure I was completely alone, before I got up and started dancing.

I whipped my hair and swayed my hips, to the up beat part of the song. It wasn't until I jumped up on top of the table with a pencil in hand that I felt like a complete pop star.

"I want you to be mine again, baby, yeah. I know my lifestyle is driving you crazy. I cannot see myself without you, we call them fans though, girl you know how we do. I go out of my way to please you, I go out of my way to see you. I ain't playing no games, I need you-"

When I stopped spinning, I gasped to find Jake leaning up against the wall, arms crossed, and that unbearable smirk on his face.

I froze in my place, letting the pencil drop out of my hand.

After a few seconds, Jake erupted with laughter.

I scowled at him, feeling the blood rush to my cheeks. I jumped off the table and quickly began to gather my things.

"You totally killed that song, Princess."
I rolled my eyes, turning my back to him.

"Oh come on, loosen up. You look super cute when you dance around like that. This would be the second time I walk in on you dancing, correct?"

I ignored his question, smiling at the word cute.

I froze when I felt warm arms being wrapped around my stomach from behind. He pulled me close to him. Close enough that I could feel his body heat radiating on to my back.

"Come on, Gabbie. Talk to me." Jake whispered, his warm breath tickling my ear.

His voice intoxicated me. My voice got caught in my throat.

His head fell to my shoulder.

"I d-don't like you." I lied, fluttering my eyes closed.

"Mm, really?" He mumbled against my neck.
