a whole celebration
dedicated to us, to me
dedicated to loving unconditionally
dedicated to being decent human beings
and being a night to know that
queer people, gay people
lesbian people, bi people
trans people, asexual people
and all of those in-between
we all matter
and we are all deserving of love
and we can band together
to help each other through the tough times
while people are out to get us
we can celebrate eachothers existence
not that we're better than cis people
though, sometimes id like to believe we are, atleast in the compassion department
but it's okay
the empowerment of us
feels so nice
to be recognized
and seen
is such an amazing feeling
makes me forget my struggles
even if only for a bit
it makes me remember
my girlfriends before, the love i had with them
the reality of the fact
we might always be hated in some part of the world
only makes me stronger
and makes me want to prove our love
will be as strong, if not stronger
than a cis person with heteroromanticism
the advancement of struggles
the understanding of pain and hurting
makes the bond tight and not weak
the confidement among eachother lets us know
we will always matter, if not to the world
at the very least to eachother
