feet on hardwood
lovers stand on the tips of their toes
veins fill with every imaginable memory
years of kisses and hugs
each pump of blood giving them a new set
each touch sending excited pulses
each eyeful of their partner is practice in pattern recognition
an injection for the mind
stepping heavy in between eachother's legs
a true lovers embrace
tears falling silently
cant believe this is finally happening
cant imagine life without the feeling
theyd have to drag you back
because you can't do it all again
cloudy around the edges
can barely keep your eyes open
swelling much beyond their size
telling you how much your body loves them
with your mind following suit
