there's something so special about
finding songs that fit your feet
put you into the same shoes you're in now
makes your experience feel more shared, common
so oddly specific ones especially
like songs about in the process of drifting away from your friend while still caring so much about them
or songs like cliché being exactly that
about a girl falling in love with a girl
and it simply being such a brief stint in the mind
it gives you a thought you never thought youd have:
maybe it will be okay.
songs like "I Miss My Mum" and "Grocery Store"
they resonate with special types of people
and the right cord struck
can feel so invigorating for someone
to feel like it's not a one off occurence
and to someone, feeling so disembodied
so pained with every action they take,
might relate to "Better"
it's just a simple matter of finding what fits you.
