Have you ever sacrificed something?
What was your sacrifice?
You never sacrifice things that you really value. Maybe if you do, you just trade it for a much better option.
Let's give an example. If you sacrifice your love over family, it simply states that to have your family, you are just paying love as the price. Whenever trade happens, we always look for profits. In this case, you consider choosing family as the profit.
Sacrifice is not something that can be bragged about. We sacrifice consciously, yet we just take pride in that sacrifice. We humans get so much happiness from blaming others. By sacrificing something, we get the right to blame others for our entire lifetime. That makes us less wrong from our own point of view.
I have sacrificed a lot. I am telling all this to myself. I don't have the right to brag about my sacrifice, and neither do you. It's rude to say, right? But I hate hearing from people who sacrificed for me. I never asked you to do so. You might have chosen something or someone else. I am just a profit that you sought then.
According to me, the hardest of all sacrifices is freedom, and I have done that. Not only me, but many women might have done it at some point because they chose their husband or family over freedom.
People who lack freedom don't even have the right to talk about it. But it's all up to you to decide what you want. We are always protected by law, and we all have freedom based on the Constitution of Rights.
So let's stop blaming others for our misfortunes. We are the ones who created it in the first place.
Sometimes making sacrifices brings us pleasure in some way. I like to sacrifice almost anything that is asked of me. If you ask me anything, it's really hard for me to say no. So 90% of the time, you can get yes as the answer. If the answer is yes, even if it hurts you, it's just a sacrifice that you are trying to make. I like to make such kinds of sacrifices. I like to do favors that require sacrifice from my side. If sacrifice is just a trade, most of the time I lose in that trade, hoping it's a profitable trade.
I don't get what I want. I might have valued the useless. I might have picked stones instead of diamonds. Most of the time, I end up trading a diamond for a stone.
After making such poor choices, I should not blame the sacrifice. I should blame myself.
So the next time you think about sacrificing something, just don't do it at all. If you really need to do it, make sure the trade is profitable.
