I heard a weird thing today. "Optimist Die"
So does that mean being a pessimist means being immortal?
No, no, no! Humans die. But being an optimist under the most unfavorable conditions can lead to death.
As a follower and believer of the subconscious mind, I shouldn't be saying this. I know. But still, I am just a kid who is pretending that I know everything about the subconscious mind. To be honest, I know only 4–10% about the subconscious mind.
Do you feel like you were robbed? Please don't feel that way. Because if I have really unlocked the powers of my subconscious mind, then I should be a powerful magician kind of person. One who can make anything happen.
Talking about this, my father comes to mind. He is one such person. He says something so confidently, and that happens. Seriously guys. It feels like magic.
Let me give you an example to convince you guys that my dad's a super hero. My brother applied for a driving license, but he was too afraid to drive, thinking that he could fail.
So my father came to him and said, "You won't drive, but still, you will get the license."
What's the probability that this will happen? It happened, guys. He didn't ride at all, but still, he got the license. We didn't cheat or do anything illegal. Things happened the way my dad told us, though it was something that we could not control.
He always does something like this. He says certain things so confidently, and those things happen for sure.
I hope I can unlock the powers of my subconscious mind, just like my dad. He may or may not know that this thing is called the subconscious mind. But he still does this.
Being someone who has really unlocked the powers of the subconscious mind is one thing. But being an optimist under unfavorable conditions is completely different, right?
I am not sure if you people heard this. "Stockdale Paradox"
I came across this term and realized that it was really a good piece of advice for me right now.Stockdale Paradox, in simple terms, based on my understanding, means, "You can be an optimist in a level to hope that you will make it in the end but also realistic to be aware of your current harsh situation. Only then can you make it to the end. If you are too optimistic to believe that good things will happen in a month or two or within this year, you might be left with a broken heart in the end, which can lead to death."
This was said by James Stockdale, who survived in prison for 8 years during the Vietnam War, though he was tortured multiple times.
The point he made was really good, because that's the mistake I have made with these 90 days. Someday, I am going to make it, which is the hope that is needed to keep us going. But setting a clear boundary without even realizing the current harsh reality is not a great idea. Also, I should have opted for some attainable goals. Though I make excuses, I sound like a loser to myself.
The optimist die phrase was written for me, I guess. I am suffering from a broken heart, which James Stockdale predicted years ago.
Kudos to you, man!
