Little Billy was terrified of climbing the rope in gym class. It wasn't the climb that scared him. It was the potential fall. That his hands would slip and he would plummet to the floor. But the teacher didn't care. He made Billy climb anyway.
The boy surprised himself by reaching the top, but now he was too scared to come down. Everyone yelled for him to move, but Billy's sweaty palms dropped the rope. As Billy fell, he realized his nightmare had come true, but he never hit the ground. With the rope by his side, Billy plummeted forever.
