Jackie began to panic when the fire started. She was all alone in the office building and had no idea how to get out. After scanning the room, she found a door marked exit and bolted straight forward. But all it did was lead her into another empty room with an exit sign. She followed it and again found herself stuck in the building. The poor woman repeated the process over and over, never escaping. Eventually, Jackie got fed up and merely closed her eyes. When she opened them, she was somehow outside. The exit was inside herself all along.
