Bobby was about at the end of his rope. He's been in standstill traffic for two hours without moving. Literally. He didn't know what was going on. Whether there was an accident up the highway, a bridge collapse, or some other calamity that brought his life to a pause.
Finally fed up, Bobby decided he was going to abandon his car and walk home. Sure, that would cause a problem for everyone else, but Bobby just didn't care. He would worry about the consequences later. Luckily, his car remembered where he lived and drove itself home to make Bobby happy.
