6/30/23 Drabble: Cleanliness

Maria hated messes so much that she kept her apartment completely empty. No furniture. No silverware. Not even a bed that could have rumpled sheets on it. She slept on the floor and always ate takeout that went straight out the window. As for going to the bathroom... Let's just say it wasn't her favorite thing to do.

So you can imagine Maria's surprise when she came home to find mud everywhere. The floors. The ceiling. The walls. Almost every inch of her apartment was covered in grimy dirt. So Maria did the only sensible thing and rolled in it.
