Tommy wasn't sure what triggered his insomnia. He just knew it was never going away. He tried everything, but nothing could make him fall asleep. Not ever. He would wander around his house, watch pointless television, even exercise. Still, slumber eluded him. He went to work, ate his meals, and did everything an adult is supposed to do. He was just tired while doing it. Always. This went on for days, weeks, months, and finally years. Doctors couldn't believe a man could go through life never falling asleep. But Tommy did, the only person to truly rest when he died.
