Out of all of Joe's chickens, he only had one that gave him trouble. She never produced any eggs he could sell. They were always malformed and ugly. Finally, Joe gave up trying to get the eggs he wanted out of the chicken and just let her lay whatever her heart desired. The results astounded him. The chicken laid snake eggs, fish eggs, even platypus eggs. It was a remarkable feat of nature that shocked the world. But even the farmer was surprised when a strange egg popped out of the chicken and a baby dinosaur hatched several days later.
