It was Bobby's worst nightmare when he woke in an ice bath with stitches in his abdomen. He felt pain everywhere. He'd been kidnapped; his kidney stolen in the middle of the night. The police were no help. Doctors neither. It became especially troubling when he woke the next morning only to have it happen again. This time they took part of his liver. Every morning was the same routine. Bone marrow. Spleen. Appendix. All gone, one after the other. Every night, Bobby became less the next day, until he was no more, not even a heart of his own.
