AWWWWWWW LOOK AT THIS CUTIE LOOK AT THAT BEAUTIFUL FACE HE'S TOO PRECIOUS 😭😫 And I will always say that my kitten is the cutest cat in the world but GODDAMN IT I CAN SEE VERY CLEARLY HOW FREDDIE LOVED DELILAH THE MOST I MEAN LOOK AT HER SHE IS SO FUCKING ADORABLE AGHHHHHHHH I personally don't like the song very much but I am most certainly understanding why it was written LMAO.

 Look at me, I'm an updating Queen nowadays lmao. I speak truthfully when I say that I used to literally NEVER update this book when I had plenty of free time but now I'm doing it a lot when I have less free time AND writer's block so I'm very confused about myself as a writer right now-LOL anyways-

 "I'm home!" You called as you set your heavy and filled shopping bags down onto the counter, exhaling heavily in relief once you let go of them.

You had spent almost the entirety of the day running errands, all the work and shopping had exhausted you and the main thing you wanted was to just relax and lay in bed with the love of your life.

"Y/N!" Freddie dashed over to you hastily, a pursed lipped grin on his face.

 He had only just remembered to hide his teeth from view despite your countless reassurances, but he certainly looked happier than you had ever seen him and he had the energy of an excited child.

"Come upstairs quickly, I need to show you something!" He beamed, grabbing your hand and pulling you along with him before you could say hello.

"Freddie, what- what's put you in such a good mood love?" You laughed softly, his happiness melting your heart though it was safe to say you were confused as ever about what was making him so enthusiastic.

"You'll see!" He then pulled you into a room where a small tortoiseshell kitten laid on the bed looking up at the two of you. 

Your eyes widened as you took in the sight. The cat was adorable beyond expression and it had quickly won you over, you knew it had won Freddie over more as he was the biggest cat lover in the world and had almost ten of them.

"You got another cat!? This is a house Freddie, not a zoo!" You quipped with a roll of your eyes, though you couldn't help but pick the kitten up and stroke its silky fur tenderly.

"But just look at her, she's so fucking cute try and tell me otherwise!" Freddie squealed, by your side in an instant and tickling underneath the kitten's chin.

The kitten purred and head butted the singer gently, and you swore Freddie had the literal definition of hearts in his eyes as he kissed her head.

"What's her name?" You smiled, scratching behind the kitten's ears gently. 

"Delilah." Freddie grinned, taking her from your arms and fussing over her again.

Delilah nuzzled his cheek and made it very clear that she wanted his affection, which the Persian gave her without a moment's hesitation.

"At this rate we'll end up with at least 20 cats." You mumbled, though you couldn't restrain yourself from joining the cuddle fest that was taking place and wrapping your arm around Freddie, whose full focus was on Delilah.

"She's so precious, aren't you just so precious, darling?" Freddie cooed, giggling as Delilah just yawned in response and laid on his chest.

Freddie looked ready to explode from cuteness as he hugged her close and fell asleep.

"Oh boy, here we go." You thought to yourself amusedly but smiled, knowing how loving and joyful Freddie was when in the company of cats.

You got in bed next to him and fell asleep, resting your head on Freddie's shoulder and closing your eyes.

You woke up the next day and yawned mutely, rubbing your eyes and adjusting to the light.

 You heard a whine of adoration next to you and looked over, seeing Freddie smiling brightly as he played with Delilah.

"You just can't get enough of her, can you?" You asked with a chuckle, feeling your heart warm at seeing Freddie so happy. 

Delilah purred and jumped onto the bed, meowing softly as she climbed on top of Freddie, who was eagerly petting her again.

"Look how adorable she is, have you ever seen anything so adorable before?" He squealed, very clearly unable to tear his attention away from the new kitten.

"Yeah, you." You snickered, managing to make him blush and smile bashfully without showing his teeth.

"Nahhhh, I think this little angel is the only one who can possibly rival me." He chuckled, picking Delilah up and giving her an Eskimo kiss.

"Not even me?" You pouted, crossing your arms dramatically.

"Well of course you, but she's got something different to her." Freddie snorted.

"Keep loving cats so much and you'll become one, or you'll at least write a song about one." You remarked, making Freddie laugh and then suddenly shoot his head up as he looked like a lightbulb ignited inside his mind.

"Maybe I will write a song about her, thank you for the idea my dear." He smirked.

"Oh no, what have I done? It's gonna be another I'm in love with my car situation!" You groaned theatrically, bursting into a fit of giggles as Freddie followed suit.

"The difference is that unlike Roger, I'm not a whiny tart who would do anything to get my way even if it was as stupid as locking myself in a cupboard." Freddie scoffed, making you roll your eyes in amusement as you recalled Roger's fit years ago after the others made fun of his car song.

"The last part no, but you can be a bit of a whiny tart." You teased, earning an offended gasp from Freddie.

"Just do me a favor and don't end up loving her more than me, okay?" You joked, though you bit your lip a bit. 

You were beginning to feel left out, if you had to be honest.

"There's nothing and no one I love more than you, not even her." He said softly, kissing you delicately.

You kissed back lightly and smiled, getting under the covers and resting your head on his shoulder as the two of you continued to play with and rant about Delilah.
