BRUH WHY DOES HE LOOK SO PERFECTTTT THIS IS OTHER WORDLY BEAUTY FREDDIE I COMMAND YOU TO STOP IT AT ONCE 😭😭😭

Yeahhh so this is going to be quite angsty- And by quite angsty I think you'll all be sobbing as well as I soooo just a little warning...Please don't come after me for this lovies you know who you are-

(1975)

Thunder boomed from outside, crackling lightning striking onto the ground as well as terror into your heart. You clung onto your boyfriend desperately, curling into his chest with a whimper.

"Shhh...don't focus on it darling, it's okay." Freddie whispered, his arms tightly wrapped around you and his chin resting atop your head.

"It can't hurt you from in here, I'll never let anything hurt you." He promised, his lips gently touching your nose lovingly.

"I-I hate it Freddie..." You croaked, snuggling even closer to him.

You had been afraid of thunderstorms all your life, the loud rumble of it and the violent pound of lightning never failing to horrify you. As a child you would always run to your room and roll under the bed when there was a storm, shaking uncontrollably as you prayed for it to be over.

Now you had Freddie who was always there to comfort you, whenever there was a storm he was always by your side or you were in his arms where you knew you were safe. The two of you laid in bed, as far away from the windows as you could get with your body against his, his strong arms keeping you still and secure.

"I know my love, I know you do...I'm right here, I'll always protect you from any danger that possibly arises." He said softly, gently tilting your chin to make you look at him.

"I love you..." You sniffled, instantly flinching at the sudden and harsh clap of more thunder.

Freddie instinctively tightened his hold on you, resting his forehead against yours.

"I love you more."

"I-I love you most." You smiled shakily.

He was always your sun in the storm, your light in the dark, your shield on the battlefield. The one person you knew you could trust and love without any second thoughts.

"I love you mostest." The singer smirked, the two of you giggling at your playful banter.

"You're the most important thing in my life Y/N, I will never let anything ruin this. It will always only be the two of us, I will never ever leave you." Freddie vowed gently, his hand gently sliding under your shirt and massaging your back reassuringly.

"Y-You promise?" You asked in a small voice, holding his free hand with all your strength.

You couldn't picture a world without him, you didn't want to ever have a glimpse of what that would be like. You wouldn't be able to go on in it, Freddie was what gave you strength every day,  you stayed strong because of him.

"I promise." He laced his fingers with yours, the thunder and lightning long forgotten as you just cuddled through the night, staying close and whispering sweet nothings in the safety of your home.

You were with Freddie and Freddie was with you. Nothing would change that, you would always be together until the very end.

(1987)

"How long have you known?" You questioned in a forcefully neutral voice, you were one step away from losing your composure and breaking down never to be joyful again.

Your world felt like it was about to explode.

Freddie, the man you always considered to be immortal and unable to let anything pierce him, was sick with no chance of getting better.

You had been staying with your family for a few days, things between you and Freddie were perfect as ever but you felt as if you had been neglecting your parents so you went to go see them for a bit and spend time with them.

Only to come back to the worst news imaginable.

"Two days." Freddie stared at the floor, unwilling to look you in the eye as he gripped onto you like you were the only thing stopping him from dying right that second.

"And how long do you have?" You swallowed hoarsely, you had a feeling you would regret asking that question but you needed to know.

"A few years. I don't know how many." He said dully, his voice dry and weak.

You suspected he had already cried it all out before you returned by the way he looked so numb and lifeless. The image was something you never in your life wanted to see again. The confession Freddie barely managed to give you through squeaky stammers and choppy breaths was something you never wanted to hear again. You couldn't believe this wasn't some horrible nightmare you were struggling to wake up from.

"Then I'm not letting you go for those years, no matter how many of them there are. You are sticking with me for as long as you can, don't you dare try to protest." Your voice cracked as you held him as if he were a fragile bird with a broken wing yet tightly as if he were about to leave.

"You know I have no desire to go anywhere, especially anywhere you aren't." Freddie choked out, his face crumpling and the pain showing on his face.

Don't cry. He's the one suffering, don't give him the pity he doesn't want.

"Come with me." You said rather out of the blue, helping him up and leading him outside.

"Wh-Where are we going?" The frontman asked quietly, letting you take him wherever it was you intended to go yet there was confusion written on his face.

"Outside, it's a beautiful night and I don't think we've ever stargazed before." You answered, grabbing a blanket and going to your backyard, setting the blanket down on the grass as you and Freddie laid down on it.

"I didn't think this night would turn into stargazing." Freddie mumbled, but he didn't sound like he was averse to the idea.

"Well it has, unless that's not what you want to do." You bit your lip, not wanting to make him more unhappy than he already was.

"No no, it could be fun." He shook his head, cuddling up to you.

You nodded, giving him as much of a smile as you could muster as your gaze shifted upwards to the gleaming sky.

"There's the Big Dipper, right there." You pointed, Freddie following your finger.

"I can't find the little one." Your husband huffed.

"Well obviously it's smaller and not as visible, but it should be somewhere below the big one." You shrugged.

"You've definitely done this before." Freddie raised an eyebrow.

"I have, but I'm enjoying doing it with you more than I did alone." You said softly.

The two of you just looked up at the sky in silence for a few moments before Freddie spoke up.

"I wonder if there's a way of telling how all the dead people are up there. If something up there makes up all of them." He said curiously and limply, quickly giving you the impression he hadn't brought this up for no reason.

"Sometimes I see patterns in the sky, or I believe all the stars are all the people, looking down on us to see the world they're not apart of anymore." You said slowly, piquing Freddie's interest.

"That's a beautiful way of looking at it." He sighed, moving closer to you.

"It'll be a matter of time before I become one of those stars, shining brightest of all just for you." He said in a small voice.

"You already are that star."

The end.

...My heart feels empty now, thanks a lot me.
