I AM LITERALLY SOBBING RIGHT NOW WHO GAVE THIS BABY PERMISSION TO BE SO FACKING ADORABLE 😭🥺 IF THIS IS NOT ENOUGH TO MELT YOUR HEART THEN YOU DON'T HAVE ONE- AGH I HAD TO PUT THIS AS MY THEME SO I CAN HAVE A CONSTANT REMINDER OF THIS PICTURE AND FREDDIE'S CUTENESS

I know I've already said this but I have gone wayyyy too long without writing an eighties Freddie imagine- Don't get me wrong, I do love eighties Freddie more than life itself, to do myself one better I love Freddie in general more than life itself, but seventies Freddie is just so damn pure 🥺 I think I went like seven chapters without writing eighties Freddie and I think there's more of seventies Freddie in this book than there is eighties Freddie when I try to make it equal sooo I'll have to work on that as well as how often I update-

This is an AU but imagine 1986 Freddie.

"Thank you for coming, White Queen. Do sit down." Your employer greeted you amicably, shaking your hand.

"Y/N please, sir. I see no need to be addressed by my alias under ordinary circumstances." You said,  obliging and taking a seat.

"Well Y/N, I have an assignment for you. I truly hate to have disturbed you during your holiday time, but you're the only one I can count on right now, you're the best operative on the team." He praised.

"Close to the only operative on the team, too." You mumbled inaudibly.

There had been a squad of new villains called 'Queen' that had quickly become a menace. Little was known about them, but many of your associates had been sent to combat them and none had prevailed.

"Has this to do with Queen, sir?" You drawled, feeling a mixture of anticipation and apprehension.

"It has. They are becoming a greater threat with each day. I've sent some of the others to try and apprehend them, but we both know how that turned out."

You nodded with a grim wince.

"What makes you so sure I won't end up meeting the same fate as they did?"  You dared to ask.

"Because," He said with a clipped voice.

"As I've said. You have never failed in the past, I am certain you will not fail now."

You could only hope he would be right.

You hid stealthily in the dark alleyway, waiting any minute for your target.

You had kept track of Queen's movements carefully, and went to go apprehend them.

Sure enough, you heard footsteps nearby and immediately increased your guard.

"I'm sorry to say so, but you've made a mistake my dear." A voice sounded behind you with a low chuckle.

"Don't you know what lurks in the dark?"

You could barely make the owner of the voice out in the darkness, but there was a silhouette of a man with crossed arms and a regal stance.

"Let me guess, you?" You replied dryly.

He snorted and came slightly closer, his figure more visible now.

"I know why you're here." He said simply, clearly not wanting to beat around the bush.

"And why is that?" You asked smoothly, not wanting to blow your cover.

"You're here to try and put an end to me and my little group, which I can already tell you will fail." The man snickered.

"Has it ever crossed your mind that perhaps you can't always win everything?" You challenged him.

"I could say the same to you, lovey." He drawled, calmly stepping out of the shadows and into the light where you got a full view of him.

For such an apparent dangerous threat, he looked quite casual. He had on a leather jacket and a bulletproof outfit, brown eyes that stared menacingly into your own as you couldn't help but feel...some unknown emotion inside of you that you couldn't find natural.

You gulped inaudibly and stood up straighter, crossing your arms.

"So, what will you do then?" You asked carelessly.

"You could kill me, sure, but what good will that do you? It'll only make you more of a fugitive." You stated.

The man blinked and shook his head.

"Now why must you think so horribly of me? I'm not going to kill you, darling." He snorted.

"Why do you even do all this?" You blurted out, not sure what pushed you to ask that question or where that sudden instinct came from.

He raised a brow.

"Do what?"

"This." You groaned.

"You could be a much happier and better person if you ended all this bullshit."

"Now where's the fun in that? Besides, this is how I've always been." He waved a hand dismissively, biting his lip.

"That doesn't mean you have to stay like that forever. You can find a way to change." You said softly, cautiously taking a step closer to him.

"Really." He smiled through pursed lips.

'He doesn't believe me.' You thought with a frown.

"And who would help me?"

"I would, if you permitted me to." You said without missing a beat.

He could only stare at you, his mouth curving into a real, genuine smile.

You were about to smile back when he just chuckled, and chuckled, then laughed until he was on the ground clutching his stomach as he wheezed.

"Oh dear," He cackled.

"What makes you think YOU could change me?" He snickered, his hysterics coming to a stop.

"I think you underestimate me." You deadpanned.

"Oh no," He chuckled.

"It's you who underestimates me." He purred, capturing your lips into a sudden but searing kiss.

You had to break away, this was unprofessional. You could lose your job this way, you couldn't give in...

Your body overruled your mind as you let yourself kiss back, stopping after a bit.

"Good first step." You smirked, making him blink and scowl at you.

"Shut up." He mumbled, his formidable cheekbones tinted with color.

"Do you have a name?" You questioned.

"Freddie...Do you?" He asked.

"White Queen." You said slowly.

"I meant a real name."

"Y/N." You said in a near whisper.

"Y/N," He tasted the word on his tongue.

"I like that."

"So, what do you want to do now?" You asked.

"Let's see how my friends feel about you, Y/N." He smirked, grabbing your hand.

FLASH!

The two of you disappeared.

The end. Or, to be continued... I'll let you lovelies decide hahahahahahahahaha.
