1977

"Finally, we can just relax!" You sighed as you and Freddie rested in bed, your one year old daughter Ella laying on your husband's chest.

You had returned to London after going with Freddie whilst he and the boys toured their latest album in America, and as great of an experience that was you were certainly happy to be back home.

"She's out like a light," Freddie chuckled quietly, stroking Ella's back gently as he gazed lovingly at the girl.

"The plane ride must have taken it out of her, and I'm pretty sure she had absolutely no clue what was happening while we were away anyway." You snorted, letting out a small yawn.

"She barely saw much of me anyway, I certainly prefer it when you two accompany me when I go on tour don't get me wrong, but we still don't get too much time with each other anyway." The singer frowned, kissing Ella's head lightly.

"True, and we can only go so much...She's far too little to see you live but she loved it when your show at the summit was broadcasted, she kept pointing to you and saying dada almost every time you were shown."

Freddie giggled softly at your words, smiling wholeheartedly at that.

"I'll have to make it up to her tomorrow while you're at work, I'll play with her, take her out to ice cream, whatever the fuck she wants." He sighed happily.

"She's one year old, she can't exactly elaborate too much on that." You pointed out teasingly but gently, running your fingers through the Persian's long, jet black silky hair.

"Still, I'll make sure we get some time together tomorrow unlike where I barely paid any attention to her in the US." Freddie said softly, rubbing his eyes tiredly as he snuggled closer to you.

"Good night my love." You murmured sleepily, closing your eyes and drifting off to sleep.

Freddie's POV:

I woke with a yawn, looking over to my side expecting to see Y/N, though she wasn't there.

I pouted and got out of bed, looking around before finding her in the kitchen rocking Ella gently.

"I'm going to go to work soon my love, you get to spend almost the whole day with daddy." She smiled, unaware of me walking up behind her.

"I've never heard you call me that before darling, I wouldn't mind it turning normal." I murmured lowly, earning a surprised gasp and a rather harsh elbow to my rib.

"Ow!" I whined, just as my daughter's eyes snapped over to me.

"Dada!" Ella squealed, her midget arms reaching for me.

"Ella!" I giggled lovingly, taking her out of Y/N's hold and into mine as I held her against me, her head resting just under my chin.

"I'll see you guys later, have fun doing whatever you're gonna do." Y/N chuckled, ruffling Ella's hair and giving me a peck on the lips.

"Oh, we will. I'll see you later dear, love you." I smiled softly.

"Love you too." She called over her shoulder as she walked out.

"Just you and me now lovie, what would you like to do today?" I asked Ella gently, running a hand through her hair that was just as dark as mine.

"Dada." Ella hummed happily, nestling her face in my neck as I giggled.

"Not really an answer dear, hm...how about we go to the playground and then get ice cream for lunch? After that we can watch a movie or two then since mummy won't be back until after dinner you and I can have a picnic then, how does that sound my dear?" I proposed, earning a cheerful babble in response.

"Yes? Okay then, let's do that." I sighed contently as I rocked her slowly.

Ella and I went for the first thing on our to do list, going to the playground though my chauffeur had to drive me since I knew absolutely nothing about driving and frankly it didn't matter much to me anyway since I had him and Y/N to take me places anyway.

I smiled as we got out of the car, following Ella's gaze as she pointed toward the slides.

"You want to go down the slides? Okay then my love." I carefully climbed up the steps put Ella between my legs, pushing forward and going down the slide.

"Dadaaaa!" Ella squealed, laughing as it stopped.

"Was that fun!?" I beamed, doing it again as it was clear that was all she'd want to do for a while.

"When it's time for you to start school in a few years there will be plenty of these for you to go on during recess." I told her amusedly, only earning a 'dada' and a hug in response.

"Let's go get ice cream now, yeah?" I grinned to myself, my heart melting at how happy my daughter was.

We then went to an ice cream parlor and ate our lunch, then going home where I willingly watched Sesame Street with Ella who adored that show.

"Dada hungy." Ella whined once a few hours had gone by, making me chuckle.

"You want to eat now love?" I massaged her back gently, getting an excited nod.

"Well the good news is even if mummy's not here and daddy can't cook for sh- his life, picnics are no problem." I smirked, assembling a picnic basket and some food while we went outside and set everything up, Tom and Jerry resting on the blanket with us.

"Kitty!" Ella pointed at the two, petting Tom gently who rubbed against her gently.

"That's right! Very good, sweet kitties." I happily let Jerry lay in my lap and stroked him lovingly, eating and enjoying our little picnic.

We finished eating and cleaned up, going inside where I sat down with Ella in my arms.

"Did you have a good day today my darling?" I whispered, kissing the crown of her head gently as she clung onto me.

"Da...da." She mumbled the word sleepily, making me smile widely like an idiot at her cuteness.

"Dada's here, dada's got you." I sang to her softly, feeling her drift off into a nap on my chest as my eyes closed as well.

The end.
