Zee woke up bothered today. Nunew suddenly distant and distracted last night when he came back for dinner. He did ask Nu if he was alright but the younger just said that work has been bugging him so he dropped the subject. It didnt stop Zee from worrying tho. Zee's thoughts were interrupted by the message alert on his phone.

😎🔆 All good Hia. You? Did you wake up tired? Friday dinner rush is no joke

👨‍🍳🌞 Im okay actually. That's just normal for me. Im more concerned about you though. You look like something's bothering you. Are you sure you're alright?

😎🔆 Yeah. Sorry If i worry you. Work has just been tiring.

😎🔆 Hia, by the way, I wont see you at lunch today. My friends just rung me, they want to stop by here for lunch and meet up with me.

Zee put his phone down on the bed and flopped his face down on the pillow.

"This is frustrating" Zee muffled on the pillow

Ding dong

Nunew's door bell rang. He stood up and opened the doors for them. Nat jumped into him and gave him a big hug while James just ruffled his hair since he's carrying three boxes of pizza.

The sat on the sofa while Nu took glasses and plates for them to use.

"So, why did you call us here? Dont tell me we drove 2.5hrs just for lunch?" James said as he bites his pizza

"Cant I ring you just because I miss you?" Nunew tells him

"Stop the crap Phi. Spill it. It's about the chef isnt it? You've been bombarding us with stories about him it feels like we know him already even though we havent met him yet" Nat says to him

Nunew sighed.

"What is it? Really?" James asks him again seriously. Nat put his food down too.

"Im in trouble. I need to tell him the truth." Nunew said. He told them what Net told him, he also gave them a gist of what happened to him.

"You really like him dont you?" Nat asks him

Nunew nodded sadly
"I really really like him. With him, i feel like im being true to myself. I feel free. I feel like I can breathe." Nunew tells then

"Then just tell him the truth. No excuses, just the plain truth" James said.

"It's not that easy Phi" Nu said. James leaned his back on the sofa.

"Nu, look. If he cares about you, then he would eventually understand. What that Net said is correct. He has all the right to be angry, you did hid it from him even though he has nothing but honest to you. But if what you describe him as to us is accurate, then he would eventually understand. You just need to work hard so he would forgive you. So the easiest and only solution in your problem is just to tell him the truth" James told him

"Phi's right. If he cares about you too, he will realize why you need to hide your true identity. It wasnt easy for you too, and the sooner you confess all of this to him, the sooner he will realize that." Nat tells him as he pats Nunew's back

Nunew sighed.

"I hope he wont hate me." Nunew sadly said.

"If he did, then he's not worth it" James sharply told him.
