Forty One

The whole gang are in Nunew's house eating lunch. Nu had to open the sliding door to the garden to open up the space and accomodate them all. Everybody brought something so now they are spoiled with the choice of food.
There is a huge pan of paella from Net and James, Grilled fish from tommy and jimmy, boxes of pizza from Peach, Peak and Nichkhun, Meatball sliders from Mark, large cake from Yim, salad from Tutor, and Max who surprisingly came with Nat brought two whole roasted chicken with them. Leang, Fae and Som bought drinks and disposable plates, cups and utensils.

It feels like a party instead of a meeting as everybody is enjoying eating and chatting as if nothing happened last night.

As they were finished with the mains and are now with the cake, Nunew served everybody coffee and tea as Zee started the main purpose of why they are there

"So, the insurance company will pay out as soon as the police give the report that it's arson and not negligence from our part. They will also cover the employees salaries until we are able to open again" Mark said

"Thank God you chose the best premium insurance" Max said

"We now have a choice, we can move or we can stay in the same area and buy the lot from the owner" Mark told them

"I want to stay where we are. A lot of people already know our location. It would be a waste trying to advertise again" Net said

"Advertising is not a problem when your boyfriends include an international idol, a super model and an award winning actor" James smirked

"An actor?" Tommy looked at Nat

"Did P'max say Yes to you already?" Tutor asked which made the both of them blush

"Nat wouldnt be here if they arent a couple yet" Nunew teases Nat as he shoves him

"I agree with staying. The area is special to us, that's where we started" Zee said

"If that's the case, why dont you buy the empty lot next to it too? It will give you the chance to expand while you're renovating the whole thing." Nichkhun suggested

"We can actually do that, i heard from the neighbours before that the owner of that land wanted to sell. We can offer to buy it from them and expand the whole restaurant." Mark said

"But how can we service up that many diners? We'll be so packed" Tutor said

"We can hire junior chefs. We can hire one junior chef per senior. You two will be responsible for each section but as a senior you would still be the one supervising them" Max said

"Just one?" Yim asked

"Two will be too much. Too many hands in the kitchen can ruin the dish. We're not expanding too much. We'll not triple the size of our diners. Maybe just add half more or just double it up at max" Zee said. He then looked at Boun

"Boun, we'll be able to hire Prem permanently too." Zee said which made Boun smile widely

"Dont be worried Poppy, we'll get you somebody for the front house too. You two will be responsible for overseeing the whole restaurant. You'll have a half to supervise and the other half will be for the other. We'll hire extra waiters and diahwashers too" Mark said

Everybody seemed to be excited after hearing this.

"So what are we doing for the meantime? Vacation?" Net wiggled his eyebrows

Zee laughed
"It's your choice, you can have a vacation for the meantime but i would personally want to send all of you to trainings. This would give you extra skills and knowledge. It would also give you a chance to explore what you can do and what's in at the moment. Then when the restaurant is ready, you'll have the chance to create the menu with me" Zee said
