Fifty Two

Nunew woke up with pains all over his body. From his head to his back, he feels like every single part of his torso will be detached soon.

"Mmmmmmmh" Nunew gruntled.

"Nu? Son? Are you in pain?" Mon said as he rushes next to Nunew.

"Tee, go get your mom next door and the nurses too" Mon tells him

"Pa? Where am I? Why does it feel so painful" Nunew complained

"You're at the hospital Nu. Can you not remember anything?" Mon said with concern in his face

"Hospital?" Nunew thought about it
"Hospital" Nunew repeated

"HOSPITAL!"
He then sit up straight wide eyed looking around the room as he remembers everything

"Pa, where's Hia? Pa. Take me to Hia now." Nunew frantically said as he tries to stand up from the bed. His pain is now long forgotten as his attention is now with finding Zee.

"Nunew you have to calm down" Mon tries to stop him

"How do i take this down?!" Nunew shakes the bedside rail just as the nurses comes in with Peach

"P'Peach! Where is Hia?! Take me to him now please! I need to see him!" Nunew said as Peach tries to stop him from removing all the monitors attached to him

"Nunu, you have to calm down first. We'll take you to him once you've calmed down. Your wounds will open if you continue to be like this" Peach explained

Nunew's tears then started flowing from his eyes.

"No Phi, you dont understand. I need to see him. I need to see if he's okay." Nu cries

"I tried to swerve, to take him out of danger. But the car wouldnt stop! I had to do something so i jumped on top of him and crashed to the barrier. The last thing i saw was his face with his eyes closed and then something red. I need to see hia phi. Please" Nunew begs Peach.

"Nunew, that was your blood that you saw. Not Zee's he is okay. He's just right next door. But i need you tk calm down or else i will need to sedate you." Peach told Nunew

"You wont need to do that phi"
Zee suddenly said.

He is being wheeled inside by Plen. She was in his room talking to him when they heard Nunew.

"Nunu, im here baby." Zee said as Plen pushes the wheel chair nearer to Nunew.

"Hia" Nunew cries out for him

Zee tries to reach out to Nunew. He knows where the sound is coming from but he still dont know where he exactly is. Plen helped him, he took his hand and placed it on Nunew's. Zee automatically smiled when he felt Nunew's hand.

Nunew saw all of this and he starts to panic.

"Hia, why are you acting like this?! Why does mama need to show you where I am?!" Nunew exclaimed

"Because he... - "

"Phi, let me explain to him" Zee interrupted Peach.

Zee stood up and patted the bed.
"Can i ask for the side rail to be lowered please? I want to sit next to him" Zee asked them. The nurses then came and lowered the side rails and assisted him in sitting on the bed next to Nunew.

Zee reached for Nunew's hand again, he then slowly worked his way up to his arms, then to nunew's shoulders and finally finding his face. Zee cupped both of his cheeks and wiped his tears.

"I had a concussion in my brain which gave me temporary blindness. Nothing is wrong per se in my brain, its just how it reacted to the trauma. The doctors said that my vision would come back, we are just not sure when" Zee caresses his cheek.
