Nayeon was all smiles as she sat in front of the interviewer with the girls all around her.

Today, they're promoting their brand new album.

It's always an exciting time for them and though they can get quite tired because they do get so busy, they're always so happy.

"It's so good to see you all. This album is incredible! Great job, girls." The interviewer complimented.

"Thank you!" Jeongyeon smiled.

"So what can you tell us about this album?"

"We worked a very long time on it and we put out songs that we love and are so passionate about. We all took part in writing some of the songs, so we're all very proud of those." Jihyo spoke.

"Some of the songs are very personal, I can feel the emotion in them. I think this album is your best yet because there are so many with different meanings behind them. You've got songs about heartbreak, love, passion, following your dreams, confidence - I mean, it's just so well done!"

"Thank you so much. That means a lot to us." Sana grinned.

"I love the songs that Nayeon wrote most, though they're all very good. Those are very cute and loving."

"Oh, thank you. I wrote them about my girlfriend." Nayeon said and the girls all teased her, making her giggle and blush.

"Oh... right." The interviewer spoke as she faked a smile. "Your girlfriend. I forgot you went public very recently."

"Yeah, it was a big decision but there were so many rumors about us and we're so in love and it just made things easier being able to be out in the open," Nayeon explained. "I hated having to hide her and my relationship with her. She's amazing and I love her so much."

"Hm... interetsting."

That wasn't the response she or the girls expected.

"Is there a problem?" Tzuyu asked. "You seem kinda upset. You were very nice before she started talking about Y/N."

"Yeah, sorry. I just don't like Nayeon's girlfriend... at all."

"Oh," Nayeon said. "I don't understand it but it's okay, not everyone is going to like everyone all the time. Let's just move on."

The interviewer just looked at the girls for a second, making Dahyun nervously chuckle.

"What?"

"Doesn't she just annoy you? I mean, how can you like her?"

"Y/N?" Mina asked, eyebrows furrowed. "Not at all. We adore her."

"Really? Because I don't even know her personally and I get annoyed by her. Just her face, the sound of her voice, the way she follows Nayeon around... it annoys the hell out of me. I applaud you all for putting up with her."

Nayeon scoffed.

Before this, she had tried to be nice.

She tried to be respectful.

But it seemed that this interviewer had no knowledge of what that meant and she wasn't going to just sit back and listen to her be so rude.

"You know, you said it yourself. You don't know her personally. Why are you being so rude? She didn't do anything to you." Nayeon spoke.

"I have the right to my opinion."

"Yeah, when your opinion isn't disrespecting another person. You're being very rude and it is so uncalled for!" Nayeon said as anger began to flood over her. "We came here to talk about the new album, not my girlfriend or your stupid opinions on her. Keep it to yourself!"

"Does she photoshop her pictures?" The interviewer asked as she looked at Chaeyoung, who looked offended.

"Maybe she does, maybe she doesn't. Too bad you can't photoshop your ugly personality." Chaeyoung replied.

The interviewer seemed to clench her jaw at that while Tzuyu and Momo giggled together.

"You know, I'd call you an idiot but that would be an insult to the other stupid people out there," Nayeon said, making the girls laugh harder. "Now, I'm going to warn you one last time - stop talking shit about my girlfriend or I'm walking off."

The interviewer folded her arms over her chest and just stared Nayeon down.

"What is it? Is it jealousy? Misery? Hatefulness? Because you don't even know Y/N and you're this obsessed and upset with her. It's weird." Sana said. "And, honestly, so are you."

"Well, I'm sorry, but I just don't like her. There's just something about her that bugs me. She's not pretty and she seems very annoying."

"That's it. I'm done." Nayeon said as she got up. "But why don't you keep talking? Perhaps something intelligent will come out of it someday."

The girls all got up and followed her off the stage as the interviewer seethed.

"Get back here! I'm not done speaking to you all!:

"Hey, have you been shopping lately? They're selling lives, you should go get one!" Momo replied.

The girls all reached the dressing room and slammed the door before embracing Nayeon in a big hug.

"We're so sorry that happened. That was all so uncalled for. Are you alright?" Jihyo asked.

"I'll be alright. I hope Y/N will too." Nayeon spoke.

"Are you kidding? She'll probably have a good laugh over how pathetic that interviewer is." Dahyun said, making the girls all laugh and agree.

"Thank you for standing up for her." Nayeon smiled.

"Always," Jeongyeon said, squeezing Nayeon's shoulder reassuringly.

They all had your back, no matter what.
