"Nayeon?" You called out after hearing the door slam shut from downstairs. You walked out of the bedroom and quickly walked down the stairs. She was kicking off her shoes and grumbling under her breath, causing a frown to appear on your face. "Nayeon? Everything okay?"

She looked up at you, surprised by your sudden appearance before she shook her head.

"Come here, my love." You whispered softly and opened your arms for her to walk into. She happily did, wrapping her arms tightly around you so you couldn't let go; not that you ever would, anyway. "Rough day?"

"Kinda."

"I have an idea. How about we go upstairs and turn on your favorite show and just lay down for a bit? Let your head clear and let you relax?"

"I'd like that."

You let go, but only for a moment. Because once you took her hand and led her up to your shared bedroom, you were crawling under the covers and pulling them back for her to join you. You patted the spot beside you and as soon as she was under the covers, you wrapped your arms around her from behind, letting your stomach press against her back.

Usually, you're the small spoon. You like being wrapped in her arms and finding comfort from the kisses she'll place on your neck and the shapes she'll draw on your skin with her fingertips.

But she's the one that needs that comfort today. You knew it from the moment you saw her sad eyes.

"Anything on your mind? Are you stressed or worried about anything? Because even if I can't do anything to change the situation, you know I'll always be here to listen. I'll always make it better, as best as I can." You spoke, brushing your fingers through her hair as she dropped her head back against your shoulder.

"I'm just tired. There's a lot to do soon, so I guess I just need some time with my favorite girl." She spoke, cracking a small smile when she craned her neck to look over at you, only to find you already staring at her so lovingly.

"I know that you can't change anything, but you always make me feel better. You're always here for me, through the good and the bad. You love me the most and that means everything to me."

You leaned down to kiss her lips before tightening your arms around her just a tad. She relaxed in your embrace and soon found her eyes closing as you planted kisses across her shoulders and her neck.

"I love you so much."

"I know." She whispered softly, smiling a little. "I love you too."

You rubbed her back and played with her hair. You hummed in her ear, her favorite melody falling from your lips that she'd occasionally turn her head to get a kiss from.

"Do you feel any better?"

"Yeah." She said. "I like it when you hold me like this." She mumbled sleepily, clearly finding the comfort she's been needing right there in your arms.

"I'll have to be the big spoon more often." You spoke and she just nodded her head slowly and said, "I'd love that a lot."
