"Nay, you're home!" You excitedly said as Nayeon stepped into your shared bedroom.

She didn't seem as excited as you to be home but you just figured she was probably exhausted.

She's got so much going on right now, it's understandable why she would feel so tired.

"How was your day?"

"Fine." She mumbled.

Her one-word response wasn't exactly what you wanted to hear.

Not in a mean way, just that you know she's up to a lot of fun things and you wanted to hear about it.

"That's all? Just fine?"

She looked at you and rolled her eyes.

"Yes, fine. Is there something wrong with that?"

"No. Of course not, baby. I was just wondering. You know how much I love hearing you talk about what you're doing and how excited you are."

She sighed and shook her head before grabbing some clean clothes to change into.

"Why are you so moody tonight? I wanted to spend time with you but you don't seem like you want to spend time with me at all."

"I'm tired! Okay? Is that okay?"

You frowned and stared at her in confusion.

"Yeah, of course. I'm not surprised you're tired. You can talk to me if you want to. I'll always listen."

You patted her side of the bed with a small smile, hoping she'd come over and open up to you because something was bothering you.

"I don't want to talk to you. I want to change and get some sleep."

"Fine. Maybe you'll wake up on the right side of the bed in the morning." You grumbled before picking up your phone.

Nayeon scoffed and you lifted your head.

"Excuse me for being tired."

"You have every right to feel tired. You have every right to feel whatever you want to feel. If I had as much on my plate as you do, I'd be a little overwhelmed, baby."

"I am! Now drop it!"

You were taken aback by how she raised her voice at you.

"You can be so annoying sometimes."

"Why? Because I'm worried about you?"

"You call it worried, I call it annoying."

"Why don't you just go sleep on the couch or in the guest room if that's how you feel? I'm trying to be here for you and be supportive but instead, I'm just called annoying!"

"You're not serious." She said as she folded her arms over her chest.

"I'm very serious. I'm also very unhappy with you right now! In fact, I'll go sleep in the guest room. I don't want to argue with you anymore tonight nor do I want to be called names when I'm just trying to be here for you."

"Mila would have never been like this. She would've never talked to me this way or acted like this with me. I wonder if her number is somewhere around her, I could call her. What would you think about that?"

You couldn't believe what she had just said.

Mila was the name of Nayeon's ex, her most recent one before you got together.

You've always felt like you couldn't compare to her.

You hear Nayeon's fans talk about her a lot; she seems like little Miss Perfect.

But never in your life did you ever expect to hear those words leave your girlfriend's lips.

"What the hell did you just say?"

Nayeon started to realize how hard her words hit and how incredibly hurtful they could be.

She was met with instant regret and the look in your eyes broke her heart.

But then she got a little afraid because your hurt and anxiety turned to fury.

"Excuse me? Did you just say that to me?"

"I..." She paused. "I did. I'm sorry."

"Sorry? You just compared me to your ex which is bad enough but then you're talking like you want to find her number and call her again."

"I didn't mean it."

"You didn't? Then why would you say it?" You asked before shaking your head. "I'm so angry with you!"

You got up and grabbed your necessities for the night before going to leave the room, only to pause and look back at her.

"If that's what you want then do it. If you want to get back with her again, then just do it! But I will not tolerate you comparing me to your ex and saying something so stupid and absurd."

"I'm sorry, Y/N,"

"Save it! I don't want to hear it." You said as you went to the guest room. "Give me some space, Nayeon. I can't even look at you right now. Screw you."

You slammed the door angrily and turned the lock before letting the tears fall quietly.

Why would she ever say something like that to you?

It was going to take a lot to make you even think about forgiving her for this.
