Turning off the tv as the last episode of your show finished up, you looked at the clock to see how long it would be before Nayeon will be home.

While you had today off, Nayeon had to go into practice for the day.

It feels as though time was dragging by, making you miss her, even more, each moment that you spent alone.

You counted down the hours and tried to find ways to pass the time, although everything you've done would've been better had Nayeon been by your side.

Finding that it would only be about fifteen minutes until Nayeon would be home, you decided to go and clean up a little.

You looked over at the basket full of laundry that you and Nayeon did last night but didn't get around to hanging up in the closet.

So it wouldn't be so quiet as you cleaned up, you turned on some music. You put it on shuffle and instantly recognized the song that came up - I can't stop me.

Usually, you don't sing along to music. You don't think you have a good voice and especially not compared to your extremely talented girlfriend.

But since it was only you here, you sang the lyrics from the top of your lungs.

The music was so loud that you didn't hear the front door opening and closing downstairs nor the sound of your girlfriend's voice as she called out for you and announced her arrival.

You were too caught up in the song to hear her climbing the stairs and hear her feet padding down the hall as she approached the bedroom, grinning from ear to ear upon hearing you singing along to what she knows is one of your absolute favorite songs by the girls.

She stood in the doorway, watching as you allowed yourself to get lost in the music. She knows that feeling all too well. Music is her life, getting lost in it happens all the time. It's easy to do when you love a song that much.

She decided not to let you know she was standing there, wanting to enjoy these moments as they don't happen very often.

Soon enough, Nayeon's high-note came, and knowing that you don't feel very confident in your voice, although she constantly tells you how much she loves it, she thought you'd skip over it.

But, to her surprise, you didn't.

"I can't stop me, can't stop me, can't stop me," you sang and hit the high-note effortlessly.

Nayeon didn't care about interrupting the moment anymore. She was so proud that she couldn't help but applaud you, that big bunny smile bright on her face.

"Nayeon!" You gasped, turning to face her. "How long have you been there?"

"Only a moment. But I guess I made it home just in time." She grinned and walked to you. "I've told you this before but I'll say it again, my love. You can sing!"

You shook your head, your cheeks turning red as she walked over to you and hugged you from behind.

"We'll have to agree to disagree then. Because, darling, you hit that high-note so well!"

"You think so?"

"Absolutely. It's not easy to do but you did it. I'm not even surprised, honestly. My girl is so talented." She said as she kissed your shoulder.

"Thanks, Nayeon." You said as your heart raced and your smile grew, her compliments making you feel much more confident in yourself.

"It's only the truth." She said as she held you tight, her lips brushing against the back of your neck and your shoulder blades. "Good job, my love. I'm so proud of you and so amazed by you. Always."
