"Are you ready for our fun weekend road trip together, my love?" Nayeon asked as she came up behind you, her arms wrapped around you as you finished gathering the last of your things to pack in the car.
"You know I am, baby. It's been so long since we've had some quality time together. I'm so excited." You said, putting the bag over your shoulder before you turned around to face her.
The sparkle that appeared in her eyes when they locked with yours never fails to warm your heart and make it flutter in your chest.
You shard a few sweet kisses before pulling away and walking out the door. She locked it while you got situated in the car.
She joined you a moment later and put the keys in the ignition before starting it. She went to buckle her seatbelt when you gasped, pretending as if you remembered one last thing that you forgot to pack.
"What, baby?" She asked as she placed her hand on your thigh.
"I forgot something. I'm going to grab it real quick, I'll be back in a minute. Do you need anything?"
"No. I'm good and ready to go." She smiled and watched you get out of the car.
"Okay. I'll hurry!" You said and watched as Nayeon grabbed the cold bottle of eater from the cupholder that you grabbed for her.
She unscrewed the cap and before she could take a sip, you suddenly slammed the door and she jumped.
A loud gasp fell from her lips both from the shock of you slamming the door so loudly and so suddenly, as well as the few drops of cold water that hit her skin.
You burst into laughter, opening the door back up to get right back in.
"What's so funny?" She grumbled.
"I got you!" You giggled.
"What?" She furrowed her eyebrows, brushing the sleeve of her sweater along her skin to wipe up the droplets of water that fell against her skin.
"It was a prank! I totally got you." You laughed and watched as she put the cap back on the bottle of water and put it into the holder before playfully smacking your arm.
"Mean!" She giggled. "You and your pranks. I declare this weekend a prank-free one." She playfully warned, sticking her tongue out at you.
"Starting now." You smiled and watched her roll her eyes before she giggled and leaned in, kissing your lips. "Love you."
"You're lucky that I love you so much." She said, booping your nose playfully. "Now come on, let's begin our weekend together."
You put your hand on hers as she kept one on your thigh, the other on the wheel as she pulled out of the driveway and began to drive down the road, excited for your special and fun weekend together.
