Warm arms wrapped around you as Nayeon hugged you from behind. Stealing a few sweet but secret moments in the crowded room of idols that were all gathered around, talking and congratulating each other for their wins and performances.

Nayeon was on a high, having won big with the girls and nailing an incredible performance. She was so happy and even more so with you there by her side the entire time.

"Have I told you how beautiful you look tonight?" Nayeon whispered in your ear, her breath tickling the shell and making you giggle in her arms. She kissed the spot behind it and hugged you tight.

"Yes, every chance you get. But I like it." You smiled as you turned around to face her. Her eyes were so bright from the utmost happiness she was feeling. It made her look even more beautiful. "I'm so proud of you."

"Thank you, and thanks for tagging along tonight."

You kissed her cheek and went to reply, but the sound of someone calling out your name stopped you. You thought it was one of the girls, but to your surprise, you saw it was actually Shuhua of (G)I-DLE.

You looked at Nayeon in shock, who just giggled and rubbed your back. Knowing how big of a fan you are of the girls, she decided to let you have a moment to let your dream come true while she went to talk with the other members.

"Hi!" She grinned and you were so shocked you almost couldn't speak.

"H-Hi!" You chuckled nervously, tucking a strand of hair behind your ear shyly.

She went in for a hug and gave you a squeeze before pulling back and getting into a deep conversation with you.

Nayeon stood in the corner talking to Miyeon and Soyeon. Although she's friends with them, she still hasn't introduced you to them yet, simply saying that you were a huge fan and would be over the moon to meet them, and especially Shuhua.

But the more Nayeon stared over at you two, the more uncomfortable she got. It was obvious that she was flirting; from the way she twirled her hair and stared at you so intensely, like you put the sun in the sky, and the bite of her lip, she was flirting with you.

She found it hard to get mad when she was unaware that you were taken. But she couldn't help but get jealous. You're so beautiful and you've been catching everyone's eyes tonight. She's protective of you, feeling like the only one who should get to look at you that way was her.

She clenched her jaw as Shuhua only began to flirt with you more, now reaching out to touch your hand. She excused herself from the conversation and walked to you. Sneaking up behind you again, she hugged you from behind as buried her face in your neck where she laid a few kisses on it.

Shuhua grew a little uncomfortable as everything clicked, especially when you craned your neck and stole a peck from your girlfriend's lips.

"Oh! So sorry, Nayeon!" She apologized.

"It's okay. You didn't know. But now, you do. She's taken."

"And happily, at that," you added and watched Shuhua nod her head quickly, cheeks flushed in embarrassment.

"I'm so sorry again. You're both very lucky to have each other. We'll catch up soon!" She said before excusing herself to return to her bandmates.

You turned around and shook your head at your girlfriend.

"What?"

"Were you jealous?"

She tried to play it off, but there was no way she could. Not when it was true and you know her well enough by now to know when she's being truthful and when she's not.

"Yes. Can you blame me though? You look so beautiful tonight, y/n. Everyone wants you. Everyone's been staring at you and-"

"Nayeon," you chuckled and took her hands into yours to cut off her rambling. "You're the only one I want. Everyone else is out of luck because I'm happily taken and I love you. You're the only one I see."

She put her arms around you and brought you in for a little kiss before squeezing you tight in her embrace.

"I love you too, y/n. Shuhua is right; I'm so lucky to have you, to be able to call you mine." She whispered as she buried her lips in your hair and kissed the crown of your head lovingly, thankful that she gets to love you each and every day of her life.
