she wants your attention

Nayeon fell down beside you on the sofa with a long and heavy sigh. She ran her fingers through her already messy hair that she's been tugging at and messing up for the last hour or so. But she tried to shake the worries from her brain because she's home with you and everything will be better for the remaining few hours tonight.

"Hey, baby." She sighed as she leaned her head on your shoulder. "I missed you today." She waited for you to look down at her but you were occupied by scrolling through your phone, making a pout appear on her lips. "Y/N," she whined. "I'm home and I missed you."

She pushed at your phone, careful not to touch anything or knock it out of your hands. She just wanted your attention. She wanted to gaze into your eyes and see your sweet smile and kiss your lips.

So when you let out a small giggle and looked down at her with bright eyes, hers lit up right away. You bit your lip and put your phone on your thigh to give her a moment of your undivided attention. "Hello."

"Hi." She smiled back at you.

"Did you have a good day?"

She just shrugged her shoulders and laid her head on your chest before she gazed up at you. "Not really. I missed you lots and things were a little hectic and stressful."

"I'm sorry, my love. Tomorrow will be better, I'm sure. Can I do anything to make you feel better?"

"Yes. Give me lots of love and cuddles." She mumbled against your neck as she buried her face there. You laughed and placed one hand on the small of her back and she let out a breath of relief at the feeling. You're all she's really been wanting today.

"Just let me finish reading this." You said as you picked your phone back up. So close to the end of what you were reading, but your girlfriend was too impatient and too desperate for your love and attention, and she wanted you to pay attention to her now.

"Are you done yet?"

She didn't even wait for an answer before she said,

"Now? How about now?"

You laughed and decided that it wasn't nearly as important as Nayeon. Not when you've been missing her today and her day wasn't all that great.

"Okay, okay." You giggled and locked her phone before throwing it aside to focus on your girlfriend. You wrapped her arms around you and she lifted her head to kiss your chin and send you that sweet smile of hers.

"Just so you know, I missed you today, too."

A warm feeling spread through your heart when she leaned in to kiss your lips and smiled against them. "I love you. Can we spend the rest of the evening watching some cozy movies together?" She asked sweetly and you knew you couldn't say no, even if you wanted to.

"Absolutely. Anything for you. You've got all of my attention. I'm all yours tonight."

She grinned and gave you a loving kiss; feeling thankful that she has you when she needs you the most.
