"Are you warm enough, my love?" Nayeon asked as she covered you up with the blanket.

"Yeah, I'm pretty warm. But I'd be feeling even warmer if you'd cuddle me."

She smiled that sweet bunny smile at you before she put her arms around you and pulled you as close as she could.

You're lying on a blanket, staring up at the sky to watch the stars together.

It's a beautiful night, the first of many that you'll share under the stars. Because you're on a camping trip for the next week.

When Nayeon told you that she had some free time and wanted to go on vacation with you, she left the choice up to you about how and where you should spend that time.

You thought about it all very carefully before deciding that this seemed like the perfect option.

You're at a campsite, which means there are a few people around. But they're so busy enjoying their time out here that they couldn't care less about you and Nayeon, even if they do recognize either of you for any reason.

It's exactly what you've both wanted and needed.

Some time away together, where no one will recognize her or care about her for the week, so you can soak up some quality time together.

And it seems to be the perfect choice.

It's almost two am and you're both still wide awake.

You went for a late-night swim on the beach a little while ago and collected some seashells before returning to the tent, where instead of going to sleep you decided to stargaze.

It's so peaceful and quiet.

You can hear a few voices in the distance but a lot of people are asleep since it's so late, which allows for you and Nayeon to hear the calming sounds of the crickets chirping and the waves crashing against the shore in the distance.

"You're not cold, right?" You asked as you brushed your fingers through Nayeon's long, damp hair.

"No. I'm warm. I've got you to hold."

You shared a few sweet kisses before you put your head on her chest, finding even more contentedness in the sound of her heartbeat in your ears.

"I'm so happy to be here with you right now. I know I've been crazy busy lately. But it's always worth it when it means I get to spend time with you like this."

"I know you're busy, Nay. It's alright. But I feel the same. I'm so happy to be able to spend time with you when I get the chance and especially when I get to share moments like these with you. It means so much to me. I cherish every single one of them."

She smiled as she brushed her thumbs across your cheeks, her eyes holding almost as many stars inside them as the sky did.

"Me too, sweet girl."

You kissed her neck a few times and continued to listen to her heartbeat as you stared up at the sky together.

"You know, we'll be having many more vacations like this together."

"Yeah?" You smiled. "I'd like that."

"I don't just mean in the near future. I mean for years to come. We've got a lot to be excited about in the future, baby. We'll cuddle like this, staring up at the sky and stargazing for years to come. We'll still be doing this when we're sixty."

You giggled and closed your eyes as she began to play with your hair.

"That sounds so wonderful."

You both went quiet as you continued to listen to her heartbeat and the sound of the crickets.

"What should we do tomorrow?" She asked.

"I'd like to go for a walk on that trail, go swimming some more, and then do whatever you want."

"I don't have anything particular in mind. I only want to be with you."

"Well, then, I guess we could do whatever else comes to mind."

"Sounds perfect." She smiled as she continued to stare at you while you opened your eyes and stared at the stars.

"Tell me what you and the girls are up to. I want to learn more about everything you've got in store."

"I'll tell you when we get home. No work talk allowed while we're here."

You chuckled lightly but nodded in agreement before closing your eyes once more.

"Don't tell me you're getting sleepy."

"No. I'm just resting my eyes." You explained but Nayeon could only shake her head with a grin, already knowing that was a lie and you were falling asleep.

"Just so you know," She whispered as she gazed at you adoringly. "You're even more breathtaking than the stars in the sky."

She thought you'd already fallen asleep by then but you replied.

"You're even more beautiful, Nayeon. I love you lots."

"I love you more, y/n. I'm going to watch the stars for a little while longer but I'll wake you up when I'm ready to get in the tent for the night. Okay?"

You just hummed in acknowledgment and started to fall asleep, more content than you've felt in the longest time.
