To Be Happy

Chapter 36

Macau and Porchay end up being excused from school for the rest of the week, which makes the two happy. The next day after the incident, Macau and Porchay decided that they wanted to go to the arcade, and so they started to look for Vegas and Kei hoping that they'd come with them.

They walked towards the office, immediately spotting them. Macau lights up and rushes towards the couple before telling them what he and Chay planned for the day, but much to their dismay, Kei and Vegas can't come.

"I'm sorry, kiddo, but I and V are gonna go out and meet Theo"

Macau and Porchay pout as Kei speaks but the latter perks up at the mention of Theo, and an idea forms in his head but he is hesitant. He glanced at both Kei and Vegas before deciding just to ask.

"Then... can we come along?"

Macau looks at Porchay with confusion while Kei and Vegas are amused. Kei has an idea of why Porchay suggested that him and Macau to come along and to be completely honest, she doesn't mind, so she tells them that they could.

"You sure? I mean, it's definitely safe since we're only going to check on some of our places and meet up with someone. You guys can come if you want to"

Porchay turned to look at Macau, hoping that the other was on board, seeing Macau nod he turned back to Kei and excitedly told her that they'd come along.

"Okay, then. You guys better change your outfits, we're going to a club to check on some stuff."

"Are... we even allowed?" Macau cautiously asked.

"It's definitely safe since the bar we're going is more of a meeting spot for important people and even some artists. My cousin runs the place since they need a safe meeting place."

"I see..."

"Yeah, and just make sure you're near either one of us while you're there"

"Okayy! We can do that!"

"No go and change your outfits. We'll be leaving in an hour"

Macau and Porchay looked down at their clothes before nodding and heading out of the room. As they were about to open the door Kei called out to Macau.

"Cau, I suggest dressing to impress"

"???"

"Justin will be coming"

"PHI! SHUT UP!"

Macau's face flushes red before he quickly heads out, walking away from the office only after slamming the door shut. He could hear Kei's laughter ring in his ears, he huffed before muttering in his breath how mischievous Kei can be when he bumps into something... or someone.

"Are you okay?"

"P'Justin?!"

"What's the rush??"

The older is holding onto Macau's elbows, as he asks Macau. The younger can't help but turn red at the contact.

Macau takes in the man in front of him, he stares at the almond-shaped eyes of the older, piercing into his own eyes, his eyes dart down, into the well-defined nose, and down to Justin's full and naturally pink lips.

"-Cau?"

Macau snaps at his trance and shrugs himself straight, unintentionally shrugging the hand holding onto his elbow. Macau mutters an excuse me under his breath before rushing towards his room to change.

He grabbed a white t-shirt, a leather jacket, and black jeans, pairing the outfit with a pair of Converse. He stood in front of the mirror once he's dressed and as he turns to head out, he's face to face with Porchay who's leaning against his doorframe, smirking.
