"This isn't a dream... is it?"
The question echoed in my head as I stared at him.
Just a few hours ago, I had been terrified of coming here.
Now...
I wasn't sure I ever wanted to leave.

Some time earlier...
"Are you done yet?" Tizu sighed for what felt like the tenth time.
I stared at my reflection and groaned.
"I can't even put lipstick on properly."
"That's because you've never worn any before," she laughed.
She gently held my chin and carefully applied the lipstick herself.
"There. That makes you look a little more mature."
The moment I looked in the mirror, my eyes widened.
"Tiz! Seriously? I look so... bold. Couldn't you have picked a lighter shade? Who even wears burgundy lipstick?"
She rolled her eyes dramatically.
"Relax. You look great. You're just not used to seeing yourself with makeup. Trust me, nobody's going to care. We just have to get inside the club."
"What if we get caught?" I nervously bit my lip.
She crossed her arms confidently.
"I've done this before. Nobody cares. But if you keep looking terrified, they'll know something's wrong—and then they'll call your dad."
My heart immediately skipped a beat.
For me, there was only one parent.
My mother had left years ago, and ever since then, my dad had done everything he could to protect me.
No dating.
No clubs.
No bad company.
No unnecessary trouble.
His list of rules sometimes felt endless.
Maybe he worried too much...
Or maybe he was simply afraid of losing the only family he had left.
I let out a long sigh.
"Okay... I'm ready."
"That's my girl." Tizu grinned.
A few minutes later, we were in a cab, heading toward the city.
Honestly...
I wasn't this kind of person.
I always listened to my dad.
I obeyed my teachers.
I never broke the rules.
I had already graduated from high school, and I was finally eighteen.
Before starting college...
I wanted to have a little fun.
Maybe try my first drink.
Maybe do something a little reckless.
Dad was out of town for a few days.
For once...
I wanted to make my own decisions.
Just once.
