Finally Home
The next day, Y/N and her father arrived at the airport.
They checked in their luggage, completed the necessary formalities, and finally settled at the boarding gate, waiting for their flight to be called.
Y/N sat quietly beside her father.
She kept checking the time.
Again.
And again.
"Sweetie," Mr. Lee said, noticing her restless expression. "The flight won't leave any faster if you keep looking at the clock."
Y/N smiled sheepishly.
"I know."
A little while later, the boarding gate finally opened.
Passengers began lining up.
Y/N stood up immediately, adjusting her bag.
Mr. Lee smiled.
"Ready?"
Y/N took a deep breath.
"Ready."
They boarded the plane and found their seats.
It was going to be a long journey.
Not because of the fifteen-hour flight.
But because of what was waiting at the other end.
For five years, Y/N had dreamed about this moment.
Five years of waiting.
Five years of phone calls.
Five years of messages.

And now, that day was finally here.
She tried to sleep during the flight.
She couldn't.
She closed her eyes.
Opened them.
Checked the time.
Tried again.
Nothing.
Her heart simply wouldn't calm down.
She looked out of the window at the clouds below.
"Almost there," she whispered.
Every hour felt longer than the last.
She couldn't remember the last time she had been this impatient.
She just wanted to arrive.
She wanted to see them.
She wanted to hear their voices in person.
She wanted to hug Tiz.
She wanted to see Taehyung's ridiculous smile.
And most of all...
She wanted to see Jungkook.

"Do you both really have to come?" Jungkook asked, already irritated by his friends.
Tiz opened the driver's door and got inside.
