Next Morning At Jungkook's Apartment

Jungkook woke up at exactly 7:00 a.m.

After taking a quick shower, he headed straight to the kitchen.

A few minutes later, the smell of freshly made bacon and cheese sandwiches filled the apartment.

Once breakfast was ready, he changed into clean clothes, picked up his phone, and smiled at something on the screen before walking to Taehyung's room.

He knocked twice.

"Wake up."

"It's almost eight. You'll be late for work."

"Yes, sweetie," Taehyung answered lazily from inside.

Jungkook rolled his eyes.

He returned to the kitchen, poured coffee into two mugs, and arranged everything neatly on the dining table.

A few moments later, Taehyung walked out, still wearing his pajamas with messy hair.

Jungkook looked at him.

"You still haven't taken a shower?"

"I'll eat first."

"If I shower now, the food will get cold."

He sat down and took a bite of his sandwich.

His eyes widened.

"Wow..."

"This is delicious."

"Wifey."

Jungkook shot him an annoyed look.

"Shut up and eat."

Taehyung chuckled.

Only then did he notice Jungkook was already dressed and ready to leave.

"Where are you going this early?"

"I've started working on a new project."

"What project?"

Jungkook smiled.

"It's a surprise."

Before Taehyung could ask another question, the front door opened.

Mr. Do stepped inside.

"Good morning, Sir."

Then he turned toward Taehyung.

"Good morning... Mr. Kim."

Taehyung smiled.

"Morning, Ji-han."

"Come, have breakfast with us."

Mr. Do hesitated.

"Oh, no, Sir..."

"Please."

"I made enough for you too," Jungkook said.

Mr. Do finally smiled and took a seat.

Jungkook placed a sandwich on his plate before handing him a mug of coffee.

Mr. Do watched him quietly.

It felt like watching a child finally grow up.

"You came early today," Taehyung said.

"Sir asked me to."

"Like I told, we're starting the new project today," Jungkook explained.

"There'll be a lot of work."

Mr. Do nodded.

After a few moments of silence, Taehyung spoke again.

"Can I ask you something?"
