At Jeons'
Mr. Jeon looked at Y/N, tears welling up in his eyes.
But the moment Y/N looked back at him, he turned away.
He withdrew his hand and slowly stood up.
After taking a few steps away, he looked at Jungkook and smirked.
"I don't think I'll change my mind," Mr. Jeon said to Y/N.
Then he turned toward Jungkook.
"But obviously, it's your life. Do whatever you want."
He paused for a moment before continuing.
"However, if you marry her, you'll have to give up everything—my name, the business, the property, this home... everything."
He looked directly into Jungkook's eyes.
"Can you give it all up?"
Jungkook wasn't surprised to hear this.
He simply took a deep breath, reached into his coat pocket, pulled out a bunch of keys, and placed them on the table beside him.
"Nothing of yours is mine."
He looked at the keys for a moment.
"These are the car keys. I'll return everything else to you soon."
Then he slowly looked at Y/N.
She was still kneeling with her head lowered.
She didn't react.
She didn't even get up.
Jungkook walked over to her and knelt beside her.
"Y/N, come on. Let's go," he said softly.
She looked at him, her eyes still red from crying.
Jungkook gently helped her to her feet.
Without saying another word, he took her hand.
Together, they walked out of the room.
Mr. Jeon stood there silently. Then he slowly walked to the window and watched them leave.

As soon as they walked out, Mr. Do approached them.
"I'll drop you off, sir," he offered.
"Thanks, Mr. Do, but we'll go on our own," Jungkook replied.
"Are you sure? I..." Mr. Do began, but the words seemed to get stuck in his throat.
"Mr. Do, everything's fine." Jungkook gave him a reassuring smile and gently patted his shoulder. "Can you come to the apartment? I have one last thing to take care of."
"Of course, sir," Mr. Do replied, lowering his head as though he couldn't bear to look at him.
Jungkook turned toward Y/N, who had remained silent the entire time.
"Should I book a cab, or should we take the bus?" he asked gently.
She looked at him and gave him a faint smile.
"Either is fine," she answered quietly.
He smiled back.
Without saying anything else, they walked away together.
