Next Morning

Soft morning light slipped through the curtains.

Y/N slowly opened her eyes and blinked a few times.

For a moment, she didn't remember where she was.

Then she felt Jungkook's arm wrapped securely around her waist.

She smiled.

She carefully turned around to look at him.

He was still asleep, his hair messy and his face unusually peaceful.

Y/N couldn't help but smile.

"Good morning, my heartbeat," she whispered.

Jungkook stirred slightly.

"Hmm..."

He pulled her closer without even opening his eyes.

"Five more minutes."

Y/N giggled.

"Really?"

"I'm still tired."

She gently ran her fingers through his hair.

"Are you okay?"

He finally opened his eyes and looked at her.

"Yeah."

Then he smiled.

"And you ?"

She nodded.

"I'm okay."

He kissed her forehead.

"I love you."

There was a brief silence between them.

Y/N suddenly hid her face against his chest.

"What?" Jungkook asked, amused.

"Nothing."

"You're blushing."

"I'm not."

"You definitely are."

She lightly hit his chest.

"Stop teasing me."

He laughed and hugged her tighter.

"Okay, okay."

After a moment, Y/N looked up at him.

"Jungkook?"

"Hmm?"

"Last night..."

He became quiet.

She smiled shyly.

"You were awesome."

His expression softened.

"You too."

He kissed her forehead again.

"Come on," he said. "Let's get up. I'll make breakfast."

"I'll help."

"Fine, sweetheart."

After they made breakfast together, they ate and chatted for a while. Y/N then washed the dishes.

"I'll drop you home before going to the restaurant," Jungkook said while eating.

"Appa messaged me this morning. He's out of town for a few days," she said, looking at him.

"Why do I smell something fishy?" he asked, smiling and walk close to her.

"Actually, I want to spend some time with you," she said, looking at him.
