Part 52

"Appa!"

Both girls shouted at the same time.

They immediately dropped to the floor beside him and tried to wake him up, but he didn't respond.

"Appa! Get up, please!"

Y/N's hands trembled as she shook his shoulder.

"Don't... do... this... with... me. Please, Appa..."

Her voice broke as tears streamed down her face.

"Get up... I... I know... that... you're listening to me..."

She could barely speak between her sobs.

"Please, Appa... wake up..."

Tizu, who was sitting beside her, was stunned for a moment. Then she quickly realized what was happening and pulled out her phone.

"Check his pulse. I'll call an ambulance," she said.

She immediately called for an ambulance. She also called Jungkook and Taehyung and told them what had happened.

The ambulance arrived shortly afterward.

By the time they reached the hospital, Jungkook and Taehyung were already there. They had explained the situation to the medical team, and the doctors immediately took Mr. Lee to the emergency department.

After what felt like an eternity, a doctor finally came out.

"How is he?" Y/N asked anxiously.

"He had a mild cardiac arrest, but he's stable now. There's nothing to worry about at the moment. He is fine," the doctor said.

Everyone let out a huge sigh of relief.

"But you need to make sure he doesn't experience any kind of stress for some time," the doctor continued. "Don't give him any shocking news, whether it's good or bad. Emotional stress could trigger another cardiac episode, and the next one might not be as mild. His condition could become much more serious."

The doctor gave them a reassuring nod before leaving.

Y/N and Jungkook looked at each other for a moment.

Neither of them said anything.

Tizu finally broke the silence.

"Hey, guys, he's alright. Now, please stop being so quiet. I can't see you both like this."

"She's right," Taehyung said, nodding.

"I was scared... I was scared as hell," Y/N said, her voice hoarse from crying.

Jungkook immediately pulled her into a hug, comforting her.

"He'll be fine. We'll take care of him," Tizu said reassuringly.

After a while, Tizu and Taehyung quietly left them alone for some time.

Jungkook looked at Y/N.

"I don't think this is the right time for us to tell him about us," he said gently.

"So... then we'll never get married?" she asked, still crying.

"We don't need anyone's approval to prove that our love is real," he said.

"But what if he asks me to marry someone else?" she asked through her tears.

"Then tell him you fell in love with the cab driver," he said.

Y/N couldn't help but smile faintly through her tears.

"You're unbelievable." she whispered.

Jungkook smiled and gently wiped the tears from her cheeks.
